It was 5.30am when Tessa heard the annoying sound of her alarm clock go off. She groaned and turned around, reaching for her phone to turn off the alarm so Marlene wouldn't wake up. She layed on her bed for a while, not really in the mood for getting up but knowing it was only a matter of minutes she had to incase she wanted to get to work on time.

She sat up on her bed and put on her slippers. She stretched a bit as she got up, taking her laptop from the desk with her to the kitchen. Yawning, she made herself coffee, trying to be as quiet as possible so Marlene wouldn't wake up. Thank god she could be a heavy sleeper from time to time. Tessa went and brushed her teeth and used the toilet before grabbing a cup of coffee and opening her laptop, waiting for the caffeine to kick in.

She went on Tumblr and scrolled on her dashboard for a while like she did almost every morning before going to read the news. She read the Finnish paper first, got herself more coffee and quickly looked through the British one. She watched the news on telly so reading the paper wasn't as important when it came to the British one. The young Finn liked to keep informed when it came to both of the countries and for her luck, Finnish news were quite international so she always had a pretty good clue on what was happening everywhere in the world.

As the clock was quarter past six, she was dressed and ready to leave. She had on her favourite hoodie and a pair of black leggings, she had to change her clothes at work anyway so it didn't really matter too much and the hoodie was warm enough for her not to need a jacket. She grabbed her keys and put them in her bag, checked the lights and the coffee maker were turned off, put on her converse and walked out the door, locking it behind her.

....

Tessa walked up the stairs, feeling like her legs weighed a ton. When she finally got up to the door she turned her keys on the lock to open the door to their flat happier than she would've normally been.

It had been a super long day at work today and she was in a desperate need of a nap. She dropped her bag by the door as she walked in and kicked off her shoes, letting out a long and heavy sigh. She saw Marlene standing by the kitchen counter, smiling at her. When Tessa's gaze moved she noticed the Austrian had made her coffee.

"Thank you", Tessa muttered as she hugged her best friend, basically letting half or her weight hang on the girl. Marlene let out a small laugh, and hugged her back but pushing her up after a few moments.

"Rough day at work, eh? I figured it would be, work days after being off for a while are never fun."

She poured Tessa some coffee and sat down next to her, as she asked her about the day. Tessa saw a chance to tell Marlene about the text Harry sent her last night, which made Marlene immediatelly fill up with excitement.

"Go call him, now!" She said and clapped her hands together.

"What, no! I might interrupt something or bother him or -"

"C'mon Tessa, she asked you to call him! And that was yesterday, oh my god the poor guy. Go, now!"

Tessa sighed and nodded. She guessed it'd be easier to just get it overwith and she knew Marlene could be very persistent when she wanted to and this seemed to be one of the things she wouldn't drop too quickly. Tessa dug out her phone and dialed Harry's number. She took a deep breath in, feeling her heart beat like crazy, and pressed 'call', her hands sweating a bit as she listened the beeps.

"Hello?"

"Um, hi. It's Tessa, am I bothering you? I can call you later -"

"Hey! I was waiting for your call! I'd have more time if you had called earlier but I'll have to cut straight to the point I guess. Louis is gonna pick Marlene up around three, that's in like, half an hour. I was wondering if it'd be alright if I tagged along and came to hang out by yours this time?" Harry said and chuckled at the end.
