Once I finished collecting my luggage I set out to find soph. She was supposed to be picking me up from the airport but I couldn't find her. After searching for awhile I ran into ale. "hey vee!" he said, giving me a side hug. "hey ale! What are you doing here, I thought soph was picking me up?"
"her and gavi are sick, they didn't tell you?" he asked while he was putting my suitcases in the car. "I was literally on facetime with soph before my flight and her and gavi seemed perfectly fine" I was alittle skeptical of why soph would lie to ale and I, but I soon pieced it together and realized she just wanted us to spend more time with eachother.
"how was the trip?" he asked. "it was amazing, rihanna is so sweet and we're practically best friends now" I said while smiling ear to ear, just thinking about the time I spent with her. "you know you have the prettiest smile i've ever seen. You're whole face just lights up" (tsitp reference😋) I didn't think I could smile anymore or than I already was but apparently I could. "man stop being so cute" I said.
"remember that date we were supposed to have?" he said. "yeah"
"let's go on it tonight, it's only 7 and I don't have training tomorrow" I could see the hope in his eyes so I obviously couldn't say no, regardless of how tired I was atm. "okay sure but nowhere fancy since i'm not dressed for the occasion" I said. "you look good no matter what you wear vee" he said, smiling alittle and pulling out his phone to text someone really quickly.
"keep your eyes on the road if i'm gonna be trusting you to drive me around" I said. I hated when other people drove and did anything else besides eat or talk while they drove, it made me feel unsafe. "we can just do like a order in date since you look tired" ale said. "are you sure? I really don't wanna ruin your plans just because of alittle jet lag" I said
"you won't ruin them trust me" he gave me a reassuring smile and we continued on our journey back to my house.
Once we got home I showered to get the dirty plane air off me while ale ordered us some food. When I was finished I went downstairs and sat on the couch next to ale. "so what should we watch?" he asked. "have you seen the new avatar movie yet?" I asked him. "nah but I want to see it" he replied. "good because we were gonna watch it anyways" I smiled and started to put the movie on. About 45 minutes later the food finally came and I went to answer the door to get it.
"Finally" I said getting up and walking to the door. "omg uhh hi, delivery for mr.delgado" the delivery guy said. "yes that's for me, thank you" The delivery guy left and me and ale finished the movie. At some point during the movie ale and I had somehow cuddled up on eachother but neither of us commented on it or even realized how close we were. After the movie we wanted some dessert but I didn't have any so we decided to drive to mcdonald's and get ice cream.

"thank you so much for this little date" I said, giving him a little hug as I was dropping him off home. "thank you for agreeing to it. Next time we're going on a real date tho." he said "who said there's gonna be a second date?" I sarcastically asked, making a fake confused face. "don't play with me vee. Text me when you get home so I know you got there safely though yeah" he said. I smiled a bit knowing he cares about my safety. "I will, bye ale"
