Chapter 4

Finally, the rain stopped and Jungkook brought Jin back to his house, Jin's face looked tired and he felt guilty for making Jin drenched. Jin got off his motorbike and Jungkook helped him take off his helmet.

"Thanks for taking me home, would you like to stop by? I can lend you some dry clothes." Jin said.

"I'm going to stop by to explain to your aunt," Jungkook said.

"Oh never mind, you don't need to explain anything to her, let me explain it," Jin said.

"Are you sure it's okay?" Jungkook said.

"Yes, do you want to change your clothes before going home?" Jin said.

"It's getting late, it's not nice to stop by without saying hi, I'd better go straight home, and I'll call you when I get home," Jungkook said.

"You better go to bed right away, no need to call me, you must be tired and thank you for taking me to the bookstore and buying me ice cream and lunch, ah it turns out you have done so much for me," Jin said.

"That's not a problem, I'm happy to do this for you, then I'll go home first, take a quick shower so you don't catch a cold, I'll pick you up tomorrow morning, bye Jin," Jungkook left before Jin could answer him.

Jin was sure his house was not in the same direction as him, picking him up would only be a waste of time and he could make them late. Jin can't come late to school because it decreases his scholarship points.

When Jin entered the house, he was surprised by his aunt who was watching him from inside the house, peeking at him from the window.

"Who brought you home? Your boyfriend?" His aunt said.

"No, he's just a friend," Jin said.

"He looks rich, his bike is good, why don't you take him in? Did you tell him to just go home and not have to see me?" His aunt said.

"He's exhausted and his house is far from here, next time maybe he'll stop by," Jin said and rushed to his room, locked his bedroom door, and sat down on his bed.

Jin replayed what happened to him that day, maybe it was one of the happiest days for him, he forgot how long Jungkook had been near him, but he didn't mind that. Jungkook was very kind and he also treated Jin very well, his concern made Jin touched and the memory of that stop was the most thrilling when Jungkook hugged him. He felt like he could feel his heartbeat through his hand that was on Jungkook's chest at that moment and it made him blush.

Jin also decided to take a shower with warm water as Jungkook told him, it was already 9 pm, and he hadn't done his homework yet. Maybe he would stay up late that night, but he couldn't wake up late tomorrow.

In front of his study table, Jin looked very sleepy, he kept dropping his head with his eyes almost closed, but he hadn't finished his homework yet, he looked at the clock on his desk and it was almost midnight, he never slept that late.

But suddenly a new message came in on his phone, he looked at his phone and it was Jungkook, he was curious and opened the message.

From Jungkook: I'm at home

From Jin: What? But it's almost midnight, how far is your house from mine? Or are you stopping somewhere else?

From Jungkook: My motorbike broke down so I pushed it to the nearest repair shop, but I can't seem to pick you up on my motorbike tomorrow

From Jin: What do you mean? You don't need to pick me up, we'll be late if we go together

From Jungkook: I'll come early to your house, don't leave before I come unless you think you'll be late

From Jin: Have you cleaned yourself?

From Jungkook: Not yet, I'm still lying in bed, what are you doing? It's late why don't you sleep?

From Jin: I'm doing homework

From Jungkook: Go to sleep, it's late, you can do it tomorrow

From Jin: Where do I do it? In the classroom? They just want to see my homework

From Jungkook: Go to sleep Jin, you must be tired

And before Jin replied, suddenly a phone call appeared on Jin's screen, that's him, Jungkook, and Jin immediately picked it up.

"Hello?" Jin said.

"This is better," Jungkook said.

"What?" Jin said.

"Hearing your voice, it's better," Jungkook said.

"I want to do my homework, but how will I do it if you call me?" Jin said.

"Go to sleep, I promise your homework will be finished before you get to school," Jungkook said.

"Go take a shower first, after you shower I'll sleep," Jin said.

"Okay, I'll take a shower first, good night Jin," Jungkook said.

"Good night Jungkook," Jin said and he hung up the phone. A smile appeared on Jin's face again, he didn't know why it felt like hundreds of butterflies were flying in his stomach. It's ticklish but it's cute.

After taking a shower, Jungkook intends to send a text to Jin again to make sure whether he's still awake or not.

From Jungkook: I've taken a shower and will sleep soon, sweet dreams Jin.

He waited 15 minutes and there was no answer from Jin, which means Jin was already asleep, or maybe he was still busy with his homework but he didn't want to call Jin again because it was already late and he was afraid to disturb him.

Jungkook kept staring at his message to Jin, he was only focused on Jin's name that he saved in his contact.

"Mine"
