"I'm changing the name to Operation Vegetables! Congrats, they're all talking about it!" Hanako floated next to us as we walked down the hallway.

"I know they are! Everyone thinks some grateful vegan broke into the school!" Nene cries. "Or a grateful daikon." He whispered.

"Told you." She tried to punch me in the face, but I ducked. "You should have given him daikons, Ney!"

As I tell you this event, I'm running for my life. I know, no running in the halls. But I don't care about rules when daikon legs is trying to murder me.

She's also screaming at Hanako, so everyone thinks my best friend went insane. Hooray.

"I'm so embarrassed! I have to drop gardening club."

"That's a little bit extreme, isn't it? You have other talents and interests." 

"Oh, Ney! You can collect and paint knives with me! What'do you think?! I may suck at gardening, but I can try to teach you how to do that!" I pulled out a knife with a butterfly pattern that I was carrying around. "It's actually pretty fun!"

"Not a chance."

"Aw..."

"We'll try something new!" Hanako suggested.

"Yaay!" The ghost and I cheered enthusiastically. Nene did not. "..I can't contain my enthusiasm..."

Operation: Button of Love.

At last, people to accompany me while I stalk Nene's crushes.

"Score! I got one! Now's your chance! Go sew his button of love!"

"I'm on it!"

"Good luck! Try not to sew your finger!"

That failed. Everyone started fanning over Minamotto, and Nene was knocked aside.

Operation: Boxed Lunch.

"How about using the vegetables to make him a boxed lunch?" Hanako suggested, holding up a bento box.

"You can keep it exciting by making them look like cute animals." He showed her a few examples.

"Oh! Right! You can make that kind of stuff, right Ney? I can't count how many times you've bailed me out when I already ate my lunch during class..."

It failed. Minamoto hates veggie monsters.

"HE HATES VEGGIE MONSTERS!!"

"They looked so cute and cool to me, though..."
