Late in the night on the road in New York, a black limousine drove along the unusually quiet road. In the car was a couple with their nine year old daughter Adriana.
"Mummy are we not home yet?" Adriana asked, rubbing her sleepy eyes, she hugged her mother tighter.
"Not yet Honey, just some kilometers to go" Cecilia replied, kissing her daughter's hair, cuddling her to sleep.
"She looks so pretty" Lewis said while driving
"Just like her mother" Cecilia replied with a smile
Her smile disappeared as someone appeared in the middle of the road with a grenade. Everything happened so fast.
"Lewis!" Cecilia yelled, her heart beat in fear.
Soon, the car exploded erasing the whole family....

A year later In their room on the huge double bed was Adriana lying unconscious, her skin and her face halfway burnt.
"how is she?" the woman in a mid-30s asked, entering the room.
"No improvement" replied the head nurse.
The woman stared with lots of emotions in her eyes.
Hours later Adriana's finger finally moved and her heart monitor began to respond positively. She slowly opened her eyes staring at the ceiling she felt her head hurt.
