Chapter 1 : (Fifteen years later)

Waking up into her new reality, Adriana realized the world was not how it used to feel, unlike when her parents were alive.
Everything changed, from her little fairytale life into nightmares.

Luckily she grew to become a strong and independent young lady, at least that's what she thought.

Adriana stared at her reflection with a little smile. Looking at her half burnt face, she wondered how beautiful she would have been. Growing up with this face she was always criticized and made fun of by everyone, most of all Ciara her beloved cousin.

But regardless of everything she was happy to have met Andrew the man of her dreams, the only person who ever stood up for her and sincerely Loved her.

Even though she wasn't pretty, he still loved her and protected her from the demons around her.

The door opened, interrupting her from her thoughts.

Ciara walked in with a warm smile.

Adriana's point of view

The little smile I had on instantly disappeared, and I turned to her staring coldly at her.

"I see you are ready for your date tonight" She said to me with a hint of sarcasm.

I just ignored her and grabbed my purse from my couch, I walked passed her and walked to the door.

"With that face of yours do you think you'll be able to have a future with Andrew" Her words made me paused and sneered coldly.

"Whatever my future holds with my fiance has nothing to do with you" Yes Andrew and I are engaged and soon about to be married.

I heard her chuckle and I frowned, I turned to her to see her just a step away from me.

"We'll see" With that she bumped her shoulder with mine and walked out.

Fuck!!

I glanced at the mirror and inhaled sharply, before walking out.

As I walked down the stairs I stared at Andrew with a small smile and sigh.

"Are you alright Ana?" He asked worriedly, probably noticed my mood was messed up.

I smiled at him and slightly nodded taking his outstretched hand.

"Okay, let go then?"
We both walked out and entered into his new sport car.

I would say since we both met our lives change for the better.

Ciara watched both of them with a smirk, very satisfied with the way things are working out for her.

Emily glanced at her daughter with a smile.

"Look dear I told you things will work out, now we just have to sit back and watch as the Smith empire falls in our hands naturally" Emily said

"Yes Mom you are perfectly right" She nodded.

'So much been the Smith cooperation's heir, who can't even stop been a spoiled little princess and foolish' Ciara scoffed in disgust.
