Chapter Four:

Adriana's POV.

My life is about to take a huge turn, I just arrived at the well decorated church. And am super nervous and excited, I never get this kind of emotions before.

Everyone is waiting for me, Will Andrew fall for me again once he sees me in my wedding dress. I couldn't stop myself from blushing uncontrollably.

Aunt Jane walked to me anxiously, with a slight frown.

The Limo is opened by the chaffeur, and I alight slowly from the car.

Aunt Jane immediately held my hand. "Adriana dear, something bad happened" I heard her say to me, she looked so worried.

My smile slowly disappeared, and was replaced by fear. "Aunty what's wrong? Is Andrew okay, nothing is wrong right" I was filled with panic and anxiety.

She frowned, "Andrew is no where to be found"She said and felt weak in my knees.

"W.. what?"
"He's not here...why." I was confused and scared.

"My dear I don't know, everyone is trying to reach him."

Tears welled up in my eyes. 'Everything is fine, something important probably came up and he...'

"Adriana" Aunt Jane called out to me jotting be from my thought.

I tried to smile, as I convinced him myself. "Aunty am sure something important came up at the last minute, and he probably had to deal with it."

She scoffed obviously finding my words ridiculous.

But no matter what, am sure Andrew as a perfect fit and reasonable explanation for all this.

"No my dear!!, Why on Earth does he ignores everyone. He should at least call you!"

I held my bouquet tight trying for control my emotions.

I heard footsteps behind the us followed by a loud mockery laughter.

I sigh heavily and relaxed my nerves before I turned to see my dear cousin with a smile.

"My gosh Adriana what kind of wedding has the bride wait for her groom?" Ciara walked to me with a smile.

"If you don't mind, it will be best if you keep shut" Adriana said as calm as she could.

Ciara smiled and walked to her, and they both stood face to face one smiling and the other stared blankly.

"What wrong Adriana, did Andrew disappeared because he changed his mind at the very last minute or is it something else."

I rolled my eyes, Just then Kelvin rushed forward with paper.

"Adriana this is for you" Kelvin passed me the paper.

"Is this the time we get to know you've been stood up" Ciara asked, and I glared at her, she must really be having fun right?
