Dear diary,

As of right now I am in my new bedroom at the Rose family estate and it's... it's pretty, I like it don't get me wrong but something feels so off about this place... Like it's hiding something but I can't point out yet.

I have been hired by Gaston who shares ownership of the estate with his brother Jonathan Rose and his wife Jezebel Rose as a live in servant. I don't really have a certain role as a servant, I just sorta do stuff and I get paid. Some days I'm cleaning, other days I am being a body guard to Jonathan's kid Onyx. Speaking of Onyx by the way- his dad and mom treat him like total shit. They dead name him a lot, they ignore his obvious mental health needs, hell- Jezebel won't even admit theres anything wrong! Like for fucks sake I've only been here for three weeks and Gaston's already had 15 fights with his bother and his brothers wife, I've had to witness Onyx being yelled at over literally nothing, and Lefou being subjected to the worst homophobia I've probably ever seen!

Besides all of that everything's been okay; I do feel a bit isolated with the other staff though as I have no else really to talk to. Claudette also got hired as a servant here at the estate, I don't know why she was brought with us and hired. I guess she just really needed a place away from the village, a place to start new ya know? I don't blame her for that of course... That place and everyone in it was nuts, but I don't think this place will be any better... if you were wondering by the way, Claudette is a chef here and helps with cooking and prepping meals. Sometimes I'll go in and help her just to be able to talk to somebody, but not to often as I am usually bombarded with other tasks that either take me forever or I just have way to many.

I remember the ride here... the rocky path, the heavy rain and all of us having to cover up with something to prevent us from getting soaked by the rain... Lefou and Onyx almost got sick, we was all pretty worried but thankfully we all made it out okay and not-sick.

I remember seeing the estate for the first time; everything was so big! The court yard, the mansion itself was huge and the path to it was even bigger! We went inside and I was immediately met with the most beautiful living room of my life! In their sat Gaston's brother and his wife, they were less than pleased to see us... Me and Claudette was then showed our rooms, (our rooms are right next to each other in the servant house, yes you heard me right. Servant, HOUSE.), and we so then we settled in! We were given brief descriptions of what we would be doing and then left to our own devices to just do whatever for the night.

It's getting late; it's a quarter past 10 p.m. and I have a lot to do tomorrow.

Good night,
Stanley.
