(4) Babysitting?

The next two days flee by almost too quickly. You had lots of fun enjoying the simple and big things you did with your family.

You were able to take your camera on your trip with you which was perfect so you were able to capture these fun memories.

You even go some printed to hang up around your room adding small prices to make it feel more like you.

The weather was calm and slightly cloudy withe sun popping out whenever it could. That's the beauty of it though.

It was almost perfect because apparently your cousin had been invited by the twins to come over for a little bonfire gathering they were hosting. They may have said gathering but knowing people you have met before that could possibly mean party.

Your parents thought it would be a great idea for you go with your cousin, who seemed to jump on the idea as well.

It's not like you guys had important plans or anything so you didn't mind but you felt like you didn't want your cousin to feel like you had to babysit him. Plus you felt a little uncomfortable with it because they didn't specifically invite you.

Bodie reassured you that it was okay because they were chill and he didn't think it was a big deal.

After getting the news you and your cousin decide to go get ready.

You go into your bedroom looking for something that shows fall mood and cabin core vibes.

You pull out a soft dark teal tank top and a creamy white button up sweater cover. Another thing you grab is a grey faded baseball cap.

After changing you look in the mirror deciding what to do with you hair. It's not like you were trying to impress anyone but you just figured you should look a little good since you didn't really know for sure if it was a 'gathering' of party. And it was going to be outside so better to be prepared.

You lightly spray your hair with your water bottle getting it a little wet so you can mouse it to make it curlier.

When finishing you take one last glance and place your hat on.

Bodie is making his way past your door  as you are about to walk out and meet him downstairsx, ready to go.

You both get showered in loved from your parents before you walk out the door.

Bodie has a similar approach to the style you chose for the event.

He is wearing a plain white tee under a white,  grey, and red striped patterned fflannell. He also is wearing light washed denim pants and tan-ish brown colored low rise cut wintery boots similar to you. have on

What can we say we have style haha. Or we are our own set of twins haha.

We make our way to their house mainly Bodie showing the way as I don't have that good of a memory besides how much I loved the look of their house.

You both walk down the blacked out driveway walking side by side and occasionally hearing the crunches and crinkles of leaves beneath your boots'.

The noise helped calm you as you made your way closer and closer. You were nervous at the idea they may not have wanted you there and that you were maybe annoying or uninteresting to them when you first met. You didn't want to get in anyones' way especially your cousin's. You had hoped you didn't seem like the overbearing guardian watching over him or protecting him from having fun like a bodyguard.

He reassured you that it would be okay and you are welcome to join him in actually having fun but you still worried about how the other two guys may feel.

You both are closer to the house to finally see where the source of the smell of the fire was at their house. 

You can see three big round logs sets around a pile of  branches and cardboard boxes burning up in the flames.

Around it are groups of people.

Either this is a reallee big gathering or a full on party.

This brings you to asking your cousin for the truth.

"Hey Bodie,"

He hums asking what's up?

"Is this really just a small gathering or did you just tell my parents that so they would let you go? "

He stops in his tracks and smirks.

"Ok so like, I didn't know if they would let me go, he paused and chuckled, " so I told a little white lie. "

You reply laughing a little, "you realize you lied to me too right? "

He start to plead, "I'm sorry please don't tell them I really wanted to go and I was so excited when the guys invited me. "

"Well isn't this interesting... I feel like I have all the power here... " you smirk and pause.

"I'm totally joking Bodie it's okay, your allowed to have fun you know and Mom and Dad would probably allow you to. Next time you can probably be more truthful with them. "

He sighs, "Okay, your right, now can we go have fun!? You better not hide in some corner. You will have fun with me."

You chuckle and walk with him to the crowded lawn.
