Dates + Fights (part 2)

Turkey's POV

Unfortunately, I was left alone tonight.

My mother was nowhere to be found along with my sister's leaving me in our hut making my own dinner and sleeping in a corner until they returned.... if they even returned.

I wonder where they even sneaked out to?

 Did mom know?

And where was mom even at?

I smelled something burning and looked down seeing my fish burnt. I sighed frustrated throwing the fish across the room. 

God, this was pathetic......

I stood up deciding to go for a walk. I just needed to get some air, clear my head.

I walked along the shoreline kicking shells staring at the waves coming in.

"You need to grow up already! You're the son of a clan leader your life is water!"

I frowned recognizing that voice as Clan leader Tonowari.

"Father it is deeper than a childish fear, you don't understand what happens when I....when I'm close to the water! I miss it every day and I'm trying to overcome my fear, but it is not easy!"

That voice belonged to Niko.

"A week, I'll give you a week to overcome this and if you don't... your disowned...."

I watched from behind a tree as the Chief left Niko to himself.

Niko fell to the sand with tears in his eyes. I felt bad for him but was too nervous to show myself.

 What would he think?

I went to leave when I suddenly felt a prick in my foot.

"Son of a-" I shouted grabbing my foot. I fell butt first on the sand clutching my foot to myself.

I looked at it seeing a sharp needle like plant poking out.

"Tuskey?"

I looked up at a tear eyed Niko and blushed. "It's not what it looks like!" I yelled out.

"I was just taking a walk and stepped on something sharp!" I growled feeling a stinging pain now.

"Stepped on something?"

He took a look at my foot and frowned. "You stepped on a Una, it's a sharp flower like plant around the island, it's food for the sea animals but deadly to us."

I frowned.

Deadly?

"I have to pull it out before I can put herbs on it....it might hurt just a little."

Okay...brace yourself. Don't be a little bitch, don't cry and definitely don't make any face showing pain...

Without warning he grabbed the tiny sprinter and slowly pulled it out.
