Once they got to airport, they were boarded onto their flighty right away. Emma pulled out her notebook and started writing down thoughts and ideas.
James was looking over Emma's shoulder and said, "What the heck are you writing? We go on this vacay to spend time with family, not meet some stupid boy".
"James, shut your mouth. I'm sure you're secretly looking for some girl to spend forever with," said Emma, closing her notebook.
"No I'm not. I'm only 13, I hope you realize that. You're also only 16, you still have college and high school to get through, don't waste it on some boy you had a dream on," said James, pulling his headphones up to his ears.
James is smart and full of wisdom for a 13 year old. Emma typically followed the advice he gives, because most times he is right, but this time she wasn't gonna listen. Emma was determined to meet this boy, if he is real, and spend the rest of her life with him.
Emma put her notebook in the little holder on the seat in front of her and rested her head on Mr. Brooke's shoulder. She fell asleep, hoping to have another dream about this Caleb boy.
When the plane landed in Greece, at Athens International Airport, everyone safely got off the plane.
Walking off the plane, James said, "Man, it smells like the Mediterranean Sea here!"
"Well, no duh dude, Greece is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea," said Emma, not realizing what James said was a joke.
"Emma, let's be real, I'm smarter than you, so yes, I know that," said James, patting Emma on the shoulders.
James start to run and Emma started chasing after him. She didn't take it as an insult because James was right. Emma never really cared about her grades and didn't put a lot of effort in, whereas, James studied constantly and has always had straight A's.
Once Mrs. Brooke and Scarlett met up with James, Emma, and Mr. Brooke they went off to find the house that they were staying at.
"Ahhh, this is a nice and cozy house. It's not like the one we usually stay at, but that one was too expensive for just a week stay," said Mrs. Brooke, setting down her luggage.
"It will do for a week," said Mr. Brooke, not too happy about the appearance of the house.
"Hun, I know it's not the best quality, but we'll only be in here when we sleep. We'll be out and about, adventuring around for most of the trip," said Mrs. Brooke, rubbing Mr. Brooke's back.
"I think it's nice. Like mom said we won't be here a lot," said Emma, happy about what Mrs. Brooke said.
"See, Emma knows what I'm talking about!" said Mrs. Brooke, hugging Emma.
"It's gonna be fun!" said Emma, with a little smirk on her face as she looked at James.
James rolled his eyes and set out for the pool.
