Plot: Charlie is playing with goop on the trampoline and he falls off of it. Mariana wasn't watching him. Charlie hit his head, Mariana rushes Charlie to the hospital. When they get there the doctors say that Charlie is in a coma and there is a chance he looses some of his memory. As soon as Charlie is discharged, Mariana helps him get his memory back.

This was requested by hehemars! I hope you like it! Also Charlie isn't really in this part but Mariana needed some character development. It is probably needed.

Little Charlie begged Mariana to let him play on the trampoline for a few days straight now. Mariana kept saying no because the netting wasn't set up and Mariana never had the time to do it, he was watching Charlie. Today, Charlie sat on the floor and cried until Mariana gave in.

"If I let you on the trampoline you have to promise you'll be good," Mariana told Charlie walking into the backyard, "you know we don't have a fence on it yet." Charlie nodded his head and smiled around his pacifier. Mariana walked Charlie over to the trampoline and threw him on it. Charlie bounced up in the air and giggled. "I'm going to get some water, it's hot out here," Mariana told Charlie as he fanned himself. He walked away leaving Charlie unsupervised. Charlie bounced for a while until he got the bright idea to make some goop and have it bounce with him. Mariana said that he wasn't aloud to make or play with goop in the house. Well now he was outside so the rule didn't apply. Charlie some of that sludgy, slimy stuff, threw it up in the air and tried to catch it. The more he threw it up in the air, the closer he got to the edge of the trampoline. That's when Mariana came back outside.

"Charlie!" he yelled, "don't move!" Mariana ran over to Charlie, who was almost over the edge. "You have to stay in the middle of the trampoline, you scared me Bubs," Mariana sighed relieved that his little was okay. "I sorry Ma," Charlie whispered, feeling bad that he scared Mariana. "It's okay but you need to be more careful next time," Mariana ruffed the littles hair and walked to the back porch.

Mariana was on his phone but whenever he heard Charlie laugh, scream, or hear the trampoline squeak, he was immanently looking up. So he was really glancing at his phone. He took some pictures of the little so he could show him later. He smiled at the pictures, finding them adorable. Soon, Mariana heard a knock on the door. "Hey Charlie! Be a good boy for me, I'm gonna get the door!" Mariana yelled leaving to go into the house. Charlie looked at him but didn't say anything. He was too busy playing around. He soon forgot about everything that Marina told him. Charlie kept jumping and throwing goop up. The little kept giggling not having a worry in the world. Until.

Charlie threw up the goop as high as possible, he jumped to catch it in the air. When he landed, his ankle twisted and his foot got caught in the springs. He screamed loudly hoping Mariana was there to catch him like he always did. But Mariana was inside the house answering the door. It all happened so fast that Charlie couldn't stop himself with his arms, the last thing he saw before everything went black was the freshly cut grass. He knew no one was able to save him. He was scared because he didn't hear Mariana at all. He was scared because he was alone. (I know this isn't a laughing matter but is anyone else thinking about Charlie landing in the Peter Griffin death meme lmao.)

Mariana's POV

I left Charlie outside to go answer the front door. I open it to see Roier, surprisingly by himself. "Where's your boyfriend?" I laughed. "Damn I'll leave," he said inviting himself in the house. "You want anything to drink?" I offered grabbing two cups out the cupboard. "You got pink lemonade?" Roier asked. I went into the refrigerator and grabbed some lemonade and poured some for the both of us. I hand him a glass and sit against the counter. "You forgot my perfectly diced ice," Roier snickered. "Would you also like a tiny red umbrella to go with it," I said sarcastically. We both made eye contact and began to laugh. "Nah I'm kidding. Anyways, where's Charlie?" Roier asked. As soon as he said that, we heard a loud scream from outside. In the backyard. Where I left Charlie.

I got up and ran to the back door. When I looked at the trampoline, I didn't see him. But lying next to it, my little boy. I ran at him as fast as possible. "Charlie!" I yelled. He didn't respond. "Slime please! Say something!" Still no answer. I turn to Roier, who is calling someone. Could've been an ambulance, could've been someone with medical experience. I turn back to Charlie and look at him closely. His chest was still rising and falling, but it wasn't as frequent as it should've been. Although I tried think that everything was okay, what if's kept sneaking in my mind. I held Charlie as close as I could and refused to let him go.

Some of the faceless workers came in and tried to take Charlie from me. "If you're taking him, I'm going too," I snarled. I knew that they were trying to help, I just didn't want anything bad to happen. But I already failed to watch it so they should be taking him from me. They nodded and brought over a stretcher. They quickly picked him up and rushed him to the ambulance. Before they could close the doors I threw myself in.

They quickly took off and blasted the sirens. I watched one of the faceless workers hooked Charlie up to the machine, it was scary. This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't watching him. I picked up Charlies hand and rubbed it with my thumb. His hand was slightly hand, how it always was. I just hope it stays like this.

The ambulance came to a stop and the doors swung open. More faceless workers came and grabbed Charlie from out of the ambulance. I followed them out but they started running with Charlie. They stopped in front of what I assume was the head doctor. He looked at Charlie and pointed to a hallway and moved out the way. The faceless workers rushed Charlie down the hallway. I looked at the sign at in big bold letters it read surgery. I try to run after them but my arms get held back. "Hey! Get off me!" I yelled. They wouldn't let go of me, instead they dragged me to the waiting room. They threw me in a seat and walked away. The walls were a deafening white and there was no noise except for the receptionist typing away at her desk. Right now all I could do was wait for him to get out of surgery.

An hour later, I was on my phone looking at the picture I took before everything happened. The more I looked, the more I realized I put him in so much danger and all this is my fault, This is when I realized that I totally left Roier at my house. I searched for his contact and called him. My phone rung twice before I heard Roier's voice, "Hey man, how is everything?" "Not well, Charlie's in surgery and that's all I know," I sighed. "I'm sorry. I actually locked up you're house, I didn't know when you were coming back," Roier said. "Thanks I appreciate it, really," I replied. "If you need anything, Cellbit and I are here for you," Roier tried to cheer me up. "Do you think Cellbit would be sad to see him like that though?" I asked. Roier hummed, "Maybe?" I saw a faceless nurse walk into the room. "I'll call you back tomorrow, bye," I sighed. "Bye," Roier said hanging up.

I looked at the nurse waiting for whatever it was. The nurse looked down and wrote something on paper and flipped it over so I could see it, it read "The surgery was very successful, however, you can not stay here longer you may come back in the morning." I knew they were going to kick me out either way so I thanked it and left.

It's been a few days since Charlie's surgery. I was at the hospital until they kicked me out. I brought my wallet so I could eat snacks from the vending machine or buy coffee. The hospital offered me food on multiple occasions but I declined every time. What if Charlie woke up and I was just eating? Maybe I'm over thinking it. On top of not eating much besides snacks, I've been losing a lot of sleep. The hospital might not wake me up if Charlie is. What if Charlie didn't want to see me? I pretty much abandoned him. All the thoughts got cleared from my head when I heard my name, "Mariana? What are you doing here?"

Cliffhangers lol. I'm obviously making a part two, I didn't want it to go on forever though. Again Charlie isn't really in this part but Mariana needs character development. Have a good day, afternoon, evening, night!
