“Well, Camilo. My name is none of your business, but I will tell you it.” Bryanna said. Camilo’s face lit up and it was kinda cute… NO BRYANNA! BAD! Bryanna took a deep breath and looked away, before turning forward again and smiling. “My name is Bryanna Ortis.” She grinned while looking at Camilo, who blushed when their eyes met. “Well, Bryanna. I can show you around town, if you’d like?” He asked.
Right then Bryanna’s mom came. “Of course she wants to!” Bryanna’s mom quickly said. “Mama! You don’t get to deci-” Bryanna was cut off by her mother pushing her out the door. Camilo caught Bryanna as she almost fell from her mother’s push. “Ugh! I can’t believe she just pushed me out the house like that!” Bryanna ranted softly to herself.
Camilo softly smiled. “I know. I am very sorry.” Bryanna looked at Camilo and softly smiled. “It is not your fault, Camilo. My mom just wants me to make friends. And, you just so happen to be the only person who actually somewhat likes me.” Bryanna explained in a calm tone. Camilo took Bryanna’s hand and started to tell her what every place was until they got to this mansion-like house.
“Woah.” Bryanna softly said as they entered the house. Camilo smiled at Bryanna. “You like la casa?” Bryanna nodded at Camilo’s question. “It’s extraordinary.” She breathed still looking around the house. Camilo grinned.
“Yeah. It’s the amazing La Familia Madrigal house. I heard they have gifts. Powers.” I looked at Camilo. “Really? That’s cool!” Camilo grinned and grabbed her hand, holding it in his.
He went infront of the girl and when he and the girl made eye contact he changed to look like her. She gasped, taking a step back. Her step back caused the boy’s eyes to widen and for him to let go of her hand and give her an apologetic look. “I- I am so sorry, Bryanna! I didn’t know that would scare you!” He quickly said as he changed to look like himself again. Bryanna took quick deep breaths.
“It’s okay, Camilo. I just didn’t expect that.” She answered briefly. The boy smiled gratefully before the girl gave a mischievous look. “So, do you have any limits?” The boy looked scared for a second before shaking his head.
The girl smiled. “That’s really cool!” She sighed, putting her hand on her stomach and looking at the couch. “Can I sit down?” The boy smiled. “Of course! You don’t have to ask.” He smiled softly. The girl finding herself smiling without wanting to.
“Camilo! Where were you?” A woman asked as she walked into the room. Bryanna sighed as she sat down on the couch. The woman saw Bryanna and gasped as a rainbow appeared above her head. “Aww! My son finally brought a girl home! And a pretty one!”
Bryanna blushed and Camilo quickly shook his head. “No! No. We are not dating. She is just a new girl.” His mom slowly nodded her head, the rainbow above her faltering.
Bryanna got up off the couch. “Hello. I am Bryanna!” She softly, yet happily said. The woman looked at her before bringing her into a hug and excitedly saying. “Hello! I am Pepa! You are so beautiful!” As she said the last part she unattached herself from the shocked girl and looked at her with her hands on Bryanna’s shoulders.
