I am sure the realtor had questions on how an eighteen year old girl with no active income was able to rent out a skyrise penthouse. But all his questions went away, when I slide him a one thousand dollar tip. I smile as he placed my keys into my hand.

"Enjoy." He says, before leaving me.

I couldn't help but squeal, the first thing I wanted to do was tell my brother. But I knew I couldn't. I look around my empty penthouse, and then I sat onto the white wooden floors. Now what type of wolf would trap themselves in a penthouse complex? Why not get a house with a backyard? I simply didn't know, maybe I wanted to forget I was a wolf at the end of the day. I just wanted to define who I was without my wolf side.

Never in my life had I been to the grocery store, most of the household shopping was done by Miguel or Miguel had other wolves shop for the house. I was truly amazed on how everything was grouped and categorized. How could Miguel not want to run through here all the time. I push my shopping cart with the biggest smile on face as I walked down each aisle grabbing everything that looked appealing to me.

"Never have I seen someone so eager to grocery shop." A girl teases, and I quickly stop smiling as I examined her.

"Sorry if I startled you, I'm Haneul." She says, moving her shopping out the way and holding up her hand.

"I'm Miona." I say, grabbing her hand gently. I had to watch my strength I wasn't around wolves anymore, I couldn't just do things how I normally would.

"Are you also attending University here?" She asks, and I shake my head.

"Nope, I just live near I am new here... but I will be attending in January." I tell Hanuel.

"Oh that's cool." She says, and I smile.

"I never really run into nice women these days." Hanuel says, and I raise an eyebrow.

"Are people mean here?" I whisper.

"A little stuck up, we are in a richer area... and I didn't come from wealth. I worked very hard to be here." She tells me.

"Who cares, you're here and that's all that matters." I tell her, and she smiles.

"I should let you carry on with your shopping though, it was nice meeting you Miona." Hanuel says, planting a smile on her face.

"You should take my number, there's a small kickback being hosted tomorrow night I could introduce you to some cool people and show you around the city." She adds.

"I'd love that." I say, and she smiles before walking away.

My first friend came easier than expected, I quickly pay for my things as I wanted to hurry up and settle into my new place. It was hard to believe that I was now on my own in a completely new environment, hiding one of the most important things about me to the world now.
