"Pick a card, darling~"

Reader POV
I knock on his door and he opens it, and I find him to be only in a ruffled shirt and shorts. I blush at the sight of him. "Why do I feel this way about him." I thought to myself. He invited me into his dressing room and offered me a seat on the couch to sit on. He closed the door as I sat down, the room was lovely, the inside of the room was a wine red color and there were candles that had the scent of a Jasmine flower, the furniture was made out of Agarwood, and the fireplace was still burning and cracking. He goes over to a glass cabinet beside his vanity and grabs a bottle and a glass from it. "Care for some wine?" He says as he looks at me while pouring himself a glass. I accepted the offer gratefully. He then pours himself another glass and gives me the previous one. He then sat down beside me and sipped his wine. "Your performance was amazing, you had the whole crowd stunned and amazed." He said as he looked at me. "Thank you Lyney, yours and Lynnette's show was breathtaking, the crowd was basically asking for an encore!" I say to him with joy in my voice. "Thank you Miss L/N." He says as he gently holds my hand up to his lips and he kisses my knuckles gently. I blush at the sudden action and it seems he noticed. "So, why did you call me here?" I say. He gets closer to me and looks me in my eyes, "I wanted to get to know you better and just talk, you know, performer to performer." He takes another sip of his wine and sets his glass down. We began to talk some more and share a couple of stories and laughs and soon, night came around. "Well it was a pleasure talking to you Lyney, but I think it's time for me to go, it's getting late." I say to him as I finish my 3rd glass of wine. He understands but then he was about to say something. "Before you go, may I offer you a card trick? It's a special card trick just for you~" He says as he winks at me as he pulls out his deck or cards from his pocket. I accepted the offer and he performed the card trick. "Pick a card, darling~" He says with a smirk. I blush and take a card and look at it and memorize it before giving it back to him. He shuffles the cards and then cuts them with his pocket knife but only one card remains. He shows me the card but unfortunately it's not my card. "Sorry Lyney, that's not my card." He looks sad for a moment but then he says something. "What a shame my dear, I guess it's getting late but before you go, check your pocket~" I was confused but then I checked my right pocket and I pulled out the card I picked, I was amazed and was about to say something but Lyney said something before I could speak. "Check your other pocket darling~" I reach into my left pocket and grab a note from it. It had some writing on it. "Don't forget to call me, cutie~"

I blush as the card and I put the note back in my pocket. He leads me to the door as we say our goodbyes. I hug him goodbye and he winks at me before closing his door. As I go outside, I get pulled into the alleyway and met face to face with the one man I wished to never see again.
