~"The date"~

Reader POV

I send a letter about my date to Pantalone and a few hours after I send it, he busts down my door.

He yells at me "GET IN THE CARRIAGE BITCH, WE'RE GOING SHOPPING!"

"HOW DID YOU GET HERE SO FAST!? I JUST SENT THE LETTER!" I say, shocked by how fast he appeared in my apartment.

He grabs my arm and drags me out to the carriage.

"So, who's the lucky guy who gets to go on a date with you, hmm?" Pantalone says drinking his tea with a smirk on his face.

I blush, thinking of Lyney, not really believing I'm going on a date with him. "His name is Lyney, you know, the famous Magician."

Pantalone freezes and whispers, "Arlecchino's kids?"

I couldn't quite hear him, "What was that?"

Pantalone looks up at me. "Nothing." He sets down his tea, "Nothing at all, darling." He smiled softly at me but I know he's lying about it.

We arrived at Chioriya Boutique and headed inside, we were greeted by an inazuman girl named Chiori.

"Hello, I'm Chiori, how could I be of service to you today?" She says, greeting us with a smile.

"My dear friend, Y/N needs some new outfits for a date with a fine young man, we need something fabulous and out there, you know, something to help her stand out, something that'll make him drop to his knees and worship her and the ground she steps on." Pantalone says, using his hands to illustrate the scene he's describing.

"Uhm, Pantalone?" I say, feeling embarrassed by his words. "Oh, sorry dear, too much?" Pantalone says, looking at me embarrassed.

(A few hours later)

Chiori made me a very pretty and elegant dress/pantsuit. I come out of the dressing room and Pantalone claps and cheers. "Oh darling, you look amazing, bravo Chiori, you truly are an artist."

Chiori bows and gives him the bill which he gladly pays for. We go back to my house and I get ready for my date with Lyney, Pantalone drives the carriage to the opera house and I step out of the carriage.

Lyney POV

I wait at the opera house and once I see the carriage, I straighten my back and tighten my grip around the flowers I'm going to give her and when I see her exit the carriage, I blush heavily and my heart beats so fast I can feel it wanting to burst out of my chest. I feel my knees go weak and my breath shortening. I compose myself as I see her get closer to me. She greets me and then kisses my cheek. I blush even more and give her the flowers. We walk inside the empty opera house and I decide to surprise her with a personal show for her.

Reader POV

Lyney put on a show for me with his magic and even winked at me a few times, after he was done. He went off stage and kissed my hand. I blushed but quickly regained my composure as he pulled me closer. I look at him and he looks at me, and I look at him, he looks at me, I look at him, he looks at me, and I look at him. Then, he smiles softly and slowly leans in as do I, I feel his soft lips against mine, his lips taste like cherries and he smells of cherry blossoms and wine. He picks me up and leads me backstage.
