Omegaverse explained for next chapter

Okay, let's start with this. What is an omega verse. So in an omega verse, there are 3 "secondary genders" the problem with this term is that gender is something that a person decides for them self. A secondary gender is more like a biological sex, because it isn't something that you can choose, and also isn't really something you can change. There are 3 secondary genders, alphas, betas, and omegas.

Alphas
Alphas are more dominate. They are basically like top, all the way. During sexual inter course, an alpha has the ability to "knot" an omega, which would get them pregnant, regardless of the omegas sex. For an alpha to "claim" an omega, they bite the omegas scent gland, which is where their pheromones are released from, making that omega bonded to them. They also go into rut, which is when they would become much more aggressive and possessive over their partner, if they have one, with there pheromones going crazy. Pheromones will be explained after I explain all of the secondary genders.

Betas
Betas do not go into rut like alphas, or heat like omegas. They are basically like normal people. They can't smell or release pheromones, cannot knot an omega, or get pregnant like an omega. They aren't really fully submissive or fully dominant. They are basically like a switch.

Omegas
Omegas are often seen as the weakest secondary gender out of all three. Omegas can become pregnant, if knotted by an alpha. They go into heat, which makes their hormones go crazy, and causes physical pain for the omega. There are two things that can help with with: suppressants, and sexual stimulation. Heat is the time where an omega can become pregnant if knotted by an alpha. Also during heat, omegas tend to build some sort of a nest out of their partners clothing, blanket, or really anything that smells like them. Omegas are also often "marked" by an alpha, which bonds them to their alpha for life.

Pheromones
Pheromones are like certain scents, that have different effects on secondary genders. There are different kinds of pheromones that an alpha or omega can release. They can release calming pheromones, fearful pheromones, warning angry pheromones, or arousal pheromones. Sometimes, some alphas will use their arousal pheromones to force an omega to submitting to them. This is because pheromones affect omegas on a biological level. Same way the fear pheromones will make an alpha or omega around feel fear. During heat, an omega will release an uncanny amount of arousal pheromones, not being able to control it without suppressants, which can sometimes lead to them getting sexually assaulted because of alphas not being able to control what they do to an omega, with their instinct to breed. The same way alphas have the instinct to breed, omegas have the instinct to submit to an alpha, and if an alpha releases arousal pheromones, then the omega will become weak and submissive, because of a biological response. Pheromones are released from scent glands, which are located on the neck. Sometimes, if omega and alpha children spend lots of time together, from childhood to adulthood, their pheromones may become imprinted on the others. This would mean their pheromones are reliant on each other, and being away from those pheromones will cause symptoms of sickness, although it isn't a contagious illness, it is something that is caused by a lack of exposure to the other persons pheromones. This can also happen when an alpha and omega mate, or the omega has been marked.

Knotting and pregnancy
When it comes to pregnancy in the omega verse, only omegas can get pregnant. This happens when they are "knotted" by an alpha. What it means to be knotted, is when an alpha pushes their dick into an omega, to the point where it gets stuck inside until they are no longer aroused. That's how it happens with dogs, so that is how that part of omega verses came about. Any omega can become pregnant. Some authors write is so a male omega has a womb and a dick, but some write it so they have female genitalia. Either one is accepted. Female alphas cannot impregnate an omega.
