Izuku lived in a world where 80% of people had powers called quirks. These powers could range from anything imaginable. This opened up new job opportunities, Hero work. Everyone dreamed of becoming one, even little Izuku. But like some people, they have to face a hard reality. "Sorry kid, it's not gonna happen." These words would become a haunting reminder that Izuku was worthless no matter what. But his so-called worthlessness was equal to his stubbornness. He would continue to pursue his dream of becoming a hero, no matter the limit.
Current day (Elementary):
"Have a good day sweetie!" Inko says, kissing her son a good day at school. "We'll see you later kiddo." Hisashi says, rubbing his sons hair. "Ok, bye mommy and daddy." Izuku says, heading to his class. He goes through the hallways, looking for his class, and finds it. He looks inside and is met with a bad sight, Katsuki Bakugou. "Why does Kacchaan have to ruin things?" he thought, sitting down at a seat.
"Alright children, let's start with introducing ourselves. Just come up on front, tell us your name and something about yourself or your quirk." The teacher said. The children all came up introducing each other and showing off their quirks. Then it was Izuku's turn. "Hi, my name is Izuku Midoriya, and one thing about me... is... I'm... quirkless." He said. Everyone giggled at the fact that he was quirkless. "Now kids, that's not very nice! Be thoughtful of other peoples feelings, okay?" The teacher said, scolding everyone. Then lastly, it was a girl. "Hi! My name is Ochaco Uraraka, and... well, like Izuku, im also quirkless." She said in a cheerful but nervous manner. This time, everyone held in their laughter, but except for one kid. "Oh come on! We already have one useless Deku. We don't need another one here!" Bakugou said. "Katsuki Bakugou! Principals office! Now!" The teacher said.
During recess, the children went around playing games such as tag, Rock Paper Scissors, and tossing a ball around. Izuku sat on a bench, looking at the other kids having fun. "Hello!" Said a feminine voice, Izuku turned to see his classmate, Ochaco Uraraka. "Hi." Izuku said in a monotone voice. "Do you want to play with me?" She asked. Izuku was shocked to hear someone ask to play with him. Most kids left him out because he was quirkless. "Umm... ok?" Izuku said nervously. "Yay!" Ochaco said, jumping into the air. She immediately grabbed his hand and went to the playground. "Let's play hide and go seek! I'll start." Ochaco said, covering her eyes starting to count down. Izuku looked around nervously on where to hide. He then decided to hide behind a nearby tree. "3, 2, 1. Ready or not! Here I come!" Ochaco said. She looked around and immediately spotted him, his green poofy hair sticking out a bit behind the tree. "Found you!" She said, patting his head. "Huh? Awe~" Izuku said in disappointment. "Don't worry, maybe you can find me!" Ochaco said. Izuku closed his eyes and started counting, Ochaco went around looking for a good place to hide. "3, 2, 1. Ready or not! Here I come!" He said. He started to look around for her but had no success. He was starting to give up hope. Maybe it was just a cruel prank and she left him. He then heard a giggle from above, Ochaco was on the tree. "Found me!" She said. She then came down. "Do you want to be friends?" Ochaco asked him. "Friends?" Izuku asked. "Friends!" Ochaco said putting out her hand. "Friends!" Izuku said shaking her hand.
Little did they know from that day forward, their lives and destiny, would soon be tangled together.
