The tale of two spiders

The Bite

Present Day

Izuku and Ochaco grew together as best friends, inseparable. They always looked out for each other since Bakugou always bullied them for being quirkless. Fortunately, they were able to expose Bakugou for what he did and his parents? Lets just say they had a field day with him. But this didn't stop Bakugou from occasionally ripping on both of them. Their friendship got them through tough times and trials. Soon, their lives and destiny are about to change.

"Ok class before this day ends, Im just gonna do a roll call to make sure who is going to the Alchemax field trip tomorrow." The teacher said, while students dozed off. The teacher went on to call names, and most people wanted to go. "I also want to mention that xxx-xxx Junior High will also be joining us." Bakugou and Izuku's heads pop up. 'Ochaco's/Round Faces school?' Izuku was excited to be able to see her again. Despite always texting each other and their parents being friends, Izuku wanted to experience it with his friend.

After School

Izuku packed his things quickly before Katsuki was able to do anything. He called Uraraka to check up on her. "Hey Deku!" Uraraka said. "Hey Uraraka, I heard your school's also going to the Alchemax field trip." Izuku said. "Yeah, your parents are very generous, especially Uncle Hisashi." She said. "Yeah, he's the best. So wanna meet up again? Same place?" Izuku said. "Yeah! There is also something I need to tell you." She responded. "Ok, see you then."

Izuku sat on a park bench, waiting for her. But his dense personality made Uraraka get the jump on him. "Boo!" "Gah!" Izuku almost fell while Uraraka laughed. "Ok, you got me." Izuku said. The two went on about their day, discussing how their day went and talking about the memories they had made together. They then talked about their dreams of becoming heroes, wanting to help others with a smile and wanting to help those they loved. "So... about the thing I told you about." Uraraka said. "Yeah?" Izuku asked. "I'm gonna be moving in a few weeks." Izuku was shocked. "But don't worry, we're still going to be able to meet with each other like always." Uraraka said. "Promise?" Izuku said, showing his pinky. "Promise." Uraraka said. They continued on their day, enjoying eachothers company, wondering if they could be more.

Izuku then walked Uraraka to her house, being the kind person he is. He returns to his home. "I'm back." He says entering the house. "Welcome, back sweetie." His mom said. "Welcome back, kiddo." His father saud, ruffling his hair. They all sat down to eat. "So Izuku, go on another date with Ochaco?" His father asked, Izuku choked on his food a little. "What!" He said freaking out a bit. "Come on son, just tell her you like her." Inko said. "But what if she doesn't like me back. Plus, I don't wanna ruin our friendship." Izuku said. "What if I screw up big time, and she never wants to see me again." Both his parents look at each other."Nonsense, you and Ochaco have always looked out for each other." Hisashi says. "Anyway, she told you about the move?" He asked. "Yeah, what's that about?" Izuku asked. "Apparently, Gou and Akemi got ahold of a 3-year construction contract with Alchemax and a lot of money along with it." Hisashi explained. "They're moving to a better apartment complex, thanks to the money they got from the contract." Inko explained. "That's great!" Izuku said excitedly. "Ochaco deserves better," Izuku thought

The next day

The classes board the buses to the Alchemax facility. The only one who was excited was Izuku, given he was a big science nerd.
Arriving at the facility, Izuku and Bakugou saw the bus' which had Urarakas school on it. Izuku saw Uraraka and was very excited.
"Welcome to Alchemax." A woman said, holding a tablet. "One of the largest technological organizations in the world. Where the mind is set free and imagination takes control." The guide said. The classes see all the machines around them and where amazed. "Now, follow me students." The guide led them into the facility. Izuku and Ochaco get together. "Isn't this exciting!?" Izuku asks. "It is. All this tech is beyond any I have seen." Uraraka states.
"Ok students, this drone model here is a current prototype of an improved UAV drone. Despite it seeming like a normal drone, this new electric prototype will have cloaking technology that not even satellites can detect. As well as being extremely quiet." The guide stated. Everyone was truly invested. The tour went on going through many exhibits with stunning technological advancements. Then, they moved on to a different exhibit.

"Now students, who can tell me what the strongest waves are?" The guide asks. Izuku immediately shot up. "Yes?" She saud calling on Izuku. "Gamma and X-rays." Izuku said. "Correct. Now, what we are about to show you will revolutionize the way we use nuclear energy." The guide said. Everyone was curious as to what she said. They were taken to a forensic lab and where shown a meteorite with a bright blue glow on it. They were fairly far from the meteorite. "This here meteorite was found weeks ago by our scientists. And brought here for a forensic study. This meteorite contains a new element we called 'Vitanium'. The Vita rays it emmits are 4x stronger than Gamma rays." The classes were shocked to see such a powerful element. "With this new element, we can find a cleaner and more efficient fuel source than standard power plants." Then Bakugou asked a question. "What if we used it for nukes?" Everyone looked at him. "We hope to never use it as a weapon. Here at Alchemax, we help lives, not make them worse." The guide scolded Bakugou. Then she noticed a spider coming near it. "I should also mention it also has a strange effect on spiders, pulling them towards it." Everyone saw a spider crawling towards it. The guide then signaled everyone to follow her.

"In these small casing environments, are spiders who came into contact with the Vitanium." The guide showed 18 cases. "This one here might be mistaken for a tarantula, but it is actually a Huntsman Spider." Showing a very big spider. "The silk from this Golden Silk Weaver has changed drastically, being as dense as Osmium and 10x stronger than tungsten." Showing a normal spider who had made a very stiff web. "And here- oh, that's weird." The guide said, seeing no spider in there. "Well, the spider does have an impressive camouflage ability, so i guess we can't see it right now." Then the watch on the guide started beep. "Well students I hope you liked our tour, we hope to see you again," she said, guiding them to the gift shop.
Suddenly, Ochaco feels a nip on her neck. "Ow!" She whispers. Izuku noticed this and went to her. "You ok Uraraka?" He asked, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Yeah, im fine." She said with a smile on her face.

The day ended, and the classes parted ways, Izuku went to his home, knowing he had a great day with his best friend. He goes to his room and lays on his bed, pulling out his phone he looks at some of the pictures he took with Uraraka. Suddenly, a spider crawls on his hand, but Izuku notices a number 9 on it. The spider then bites him, he quickly kills it and starts to realize something. He quickly goes to his desk and grabs a vial, putting the spider in it. He examines the spider but then thinks what would happen to him since this was no regular spider.

Next day

Izuku gets out of bed but notices something different about him. He's grown muscular and taller. He puts on his uniform and notices it is a bit smaller. He goes to school as normal, but when Katsuki is about to playfully tackle him, Izuku notices time go by slower and a tingling saying,'Behind you!' Izuku quickly turns and dodges the tackle. Both were surprised. Izuku was confused and ran to first period before anything else happened. But then, he gets another tingling sense. It feels as if it's telling him of another person. This person seems familiar.

Ochaco had her morning similar to Izuku, noticing her having a more sleek figure and being a bit more muscular as well. She goes to her school, but someone notices she has changed a bit. "Hey there cutie, what are you doing later today." A boy says, walking up to her. "Get lost." She says, annoyed at him, just wanting to get to class. "Hey now, just because I made a few jokes about you being quirkless doesn't mean we can't get to know each other." He said. Having enough, she slapped him so hard his cheek was redder than a tomatoe. "I said NO!" Storming off. But the boy was not having it. "You'll pay for that!" He said, lunging at her. Ochaco turned around and felt a tingling feel. She then realizes she's perceiving things in slow motion. She then takes a chance and kicked him right in the nuts, most likely to never have kids. Everyone was perplexed at this, but Ochaco just went on with her day. But she then feels the tingling again, telling her of another person. Who also feels familiar...

'Whats happening?' They both thought.
