Fortune teller - Lando Norris

Days like this were rare for you and Lando. Instead of the usual rushing around, packing up for race weekends, or last-minute face-timing, you were instead spending your Sunday curled up on the sofa, old re-runs of friends on the TV as you sat there in your lovers arms, book perched in your hand.

"What you reading...?" Lando sang, looking over your shoulder to have a look himself. "The deal" You sang back, looking up to him with a smile on your face "Want to read it with me?" You giggled, as he instantly scrunched his face up in disgust "I'm taking that as a no then" From your years of dating Lando, you knew he wasn't as in to books as you, if anything he called them his biggest enemy, claiming that they steal you away from him !

Putting the book down you span in his arms, causing you to sit cross-legged on his lap. "What do you want to do then if my books are too disgusting for you?" Lando thought for a minute before he grabbed a hold of your hands.

"You know what I found out when I was little..." He muttered, concentrating on following the patterns on his palms. "What?" You whispered, not wanting to break the little trance he was in. "I can read futures!" You tried your best to not laugh at his little comment, but you couldn't help a little giggle to come out "What I can?!?!" Lando pouted.

"Oh really?" You smiled, pecking his cheek "What do you see in our future? Is it looking good?"

Lando didn't reply for a few minutes as he continued to 'read' your palms. The was something at the moment that took your breath away, you didn't know if it was either the way he was concentrating so closely on 'looking at the future or the way his fingers danced so effortlessly across your hand. Finally he looked up to you, a huge beaming smile on his face "Yeah... It looks very very good."

"Oh yeah?" you smiled "What do you see?" Without hesitation, he replied looking up with a huge smile...

"Us"

Your heart melted at his words, as tears sprung into your eyes "Your so cute.." You sighed, tears now falling out of your eyes as you wrapped your arms round his neck "I love you so much..."

"I love you too.." Lando whispered in your ear, tucking away loose strands of hair.

"I really hope that's right... cause I can't wait now..."

Letting you drop your head to his shoulder, Lando smiled pecking the top of your head "Oh don't worry... I'm letting you go anywhere!"

Lando carried on explaining what he had 'seen'. Going into detail about your wedding, and how many children you were going to have. And your heart felt like it could burst... you could have sat there for hours letting him talk about what the future had to offer and although nothing was certain... you knew you had him!

"Lando...? My little fortune teller" You smirked, turning your head to look at him as he let out a hum. "Did we have a dog? y'know in the future?"

"No." He replied quickly, without hesitation causing you to pout.

"Well.... can we get one!"

"We can't mess with the future (y/n)!" He smirked, pecking your lips gently, before grabbing your hand again "But because your so cute, I'll have another look!"
