A year passed, nakusa was 15 now, and sophomore in high school. Raine moved in with them, since eda and raine relationship hit higher heights.
On a Saturday morning, nakusa walked I to the kitchen, and saw eda and Raine together, being slightly touchy with each other and giggling. Nakusa saw this and cringed. "You guys need to get a room" she said, then climbed on the counter, attempting to reach the cookies. "Hey come on kiddo, it's 9 in the morning, no sweets" eda said, then saw nakusa struggling to reach them. Eda and Raine snickered at the sight. "N-need some help there, nakusa?" Raine asked, trying not to laugh. "Shut the fuck up..! ... I'm still waiting on a growth spurt.. " she said, then gave up and got down. "Don't worry kiddo, you just turned 15 a month ago, give it some time" eda said, pating her head, which was pretty much the only physical affection nakusa allowed. "Waiting is Boring.. " nakusa complained. "Hey come on, I waited a decade for.. Someone very special" she said, glancing at Raine. Nakusa scoffed. "That's because your lovesick, and raine is a simp" eda covered her mouth and laughed silently, while Raine sighed. "Why'd you bring me into this?" They asked. "Because your screw my mother.. And your loud when you do it" nakusa said glaring at them, while eda and Raine went red, and avoided looking at her. "In my defense... She asked me to" Raine said, eda's jaw dropped when she heard this, and she playfully shoved Raine. Nakusa scoffed and went to the living room. And turned on the true crime channel, which was her favorite. Just then, eda got a call on her phone
"Hey lils what's up?"
"Did you forget?"
"Forget?... What?"
"Mother wanted us over today"
"Ah shit... I mean.. I'm.. Nearly there"
"Your at home.. Arnt you?"
".. Maybe"
"Just hurry up, il tell her your in traffic"
"Thanks sis your the best!"
"Mhm.. Just hurry up"
Eda hung up, and kissed Raine on the cheek. "I gotta run rainestorm! Nakusa be good!" Eda said, as she rushed out the door.
Raine was now a little nervous, they wernt usually alone with nakusa, mainly because nakusa loved to mess with them everytime she got the chance. They were all harmless lreanks, and they were pretty used to it, because these were things eda did as a teenager. They walked in the living room, and saw nakusa watching TV, which was normal, scine she watched this chann, often, but what really had thT had Raine a little nervous was the fact she took notes on the channel. "Why.. Exactly do you take notes when you watch this" nakusa turned to them. "It's valuable information" she replied, and Raine left it alone.
Meanwhile with eda, she was driving to her mother's house, as fast as she could without going over the speed limit, and finally got there she was greeted by her mother. "Edalyn! Come in dear!" Gwen said with joy. "Hey ma.." Eda said, as she came in and stood beside her sister. "And.. What kept you so long?" Lilith asked in a whisper. "Just slipped my mind" eda whispered back. "Edalyn tell me, how's little nakusa?" Gwen asked, eda let out a light chuckle. "Mom come on, she's 15 now, but she's doing alright" eda responded. "That's wonderful! Is she still going to therapy?" Gwen asked, eda snickered. "Ah.. No.. We scratched that idea.. After she attack the therapist... For the 3rd time" eda mumbled the last part then cleared her throat. "Ah.. I-i see.." Gwen said nervously. "Oh really? She attacked 4 of them?" Lilith asked, and eda nodded. "Yep.. The last one quit because nakusa tried to shove a Pringles can down her throat, then... Up.. " eda said, the gave Lilith a certain look, to let her know what she ment, and Lilith got it. "Oh damn.. Really?" Eda nodded. "Was she okay?" Lilith asked. "Oh um.. Physically yes" eda said, and Lilith sighed. "Well that's good, so nothing to bad for nakusa's standards..oh mom, you should come and meet her sometime" eda said Gwen, gave a look that's said no thank you I choose life. ".. I-i mean.. She sounds violent" Gwen said. "Well I mean.. Considering her condition it makes sense" lilith said, and eda nodded. "What's her condition?" Gwen asked, then it hit eda, she never really told her mother. "Ohh.. Right.. I forgot to tell you, she's a sociopath" gwens eyes widened. "AND SHE LIVES WITH YOU!?" Eda nodded. "I mean.. She's my daughter so.. " eda mumbled. "And she hasn't murdered anyone since edalyn took her in" lilith added.

"Besides she not going to hurt you, because.. Well I'm emotionally tied to you, so she won't try and hurt you for my sake, when it comes to lily.. Well nakusa likes her, and.. They like to gang up on me.. Sometimes which is very annoying, raine.. Um.. She doesn't hate them.. But.. She like to mess with them, although raine is more of a neutral thing for her" Gwen nodded. "Besides she a good kid" eda added. "Yes, she's charismatic, although.. Her language is strong it does come off as humorus, and she has a sweet tooth.. And actually pretty cute once you look at her" lilith said, eda nodded in agreement. "Well.. She's sounds very interesting"
A few hours later eda went home, when she got there she was immediately greeted with a kiss from raine. "Have fun?" They asked her. "I did, was nakusa okay?" She asked, as raine held on to her. "She's alright, she's in her room" raine told her. Eda sighed with a smile on her face, and leaned Into raine. "Everything okay, Calamity?" They asked, and she nodded. "Everything is perfect.. "
She said in a soft voice. And the moment those words escape her mouth.. She jinxed everything.
This chapter was mostly to waste time, because the problem doesn't start untill chapter 3
