I Don't Like You

I Said Leave Me Alone

A week later, you are with the members, Jimin, Jungkook, J Hope, and Yoongi, riding to what was supposed to be their next photo shoot. Everyone planned on stopping for lunch on the way.  

You ask Hobi, "I thought you guys had today off to do whatever you wanted." 

Hobi grins, replying, "We do, and we are."

Such a cryptic reply, you grin and shake your head. You rest your head against the seat when everyone notices the suv starts acting weird. 

The driver says, "Guys, I have to pull over."

The driver pulls over in a beautiful wooded park. Jimin, Jungkook, and J Hope get out after the driver comes and opens the door. He closes it before you or Yoongi can get out. Stunned, you watch as the others walk away with the driver.

The driver was in on Jungkook's plan. He pretended that something was wrong with the vehicle as an excuse to pull over. Jungkook had already sabotaged the doors so that they wouldn't open once they were locked when they got out at the park.

"What is going on?" you ask as you try to open the door near you, but it won't budge.

Yoongi is trying to open any of the doors, "Dammit, I can't get the doors to unlock," he angrily complains.

Shocked you tried the other doors as well. The same ones Yoongi had just tried. He rolls his eyes at you.

 Sarcastically, Yoongi mocks, "I told you the doors won't unlock. Did you think I would lie to you? Do you think I want to be stuck in here with you?"

He growls in frustration and drops back into one of the seats. Upset, you cross your arms over your chest and drop back into your seat.

"If you think for one minute that I'm happy to be stuck here of all places and with YOU then you have to think again! I'd rather be at the dentist getting my teeth drilled without numbing medicine," you snarl back.

He looks at you almost as if you just wounded him. You look away and stare out the window, thinking, 'There is no way I just hurt his feelings, is there?'

Reconsidering what you just said to him, you turn and say, "I'm sorry. That was very mean of me."

He doesn't even look at you but says, "It doesn't matter.  Other than my members, the only people who want to be stuck with me are people who only want to know me for the fame. They don't really care about me or understand me."

You have yet to see this side of him, the less confident side. He seemed always full of swagger and confidence. You reach over and put your hand over his, and he suddenly turns to you.

"What are you doing!?" He pulls his hand away, "Just leave me alone. You've done enough to my heart."

Surprised, you let his hand go, "What did you just say?"

Looking at you puzzled, he says, "You heard me. Just leave me alone." He goes to try the doors again.

You lean back in your seat and close your eyes. Why, of all people, did you have to get stuck with Yoongi? You start thinking things over concerning him. You never wanted to hurt him; you just didn't know how to handle your feelings toward him. 

Maybe he wasn't the harsh, cold person you thought he was. You remember, back in high school, people thought the same of you when, in reality, you were very timid, and your brother would tease you about being an introvert. At the time you didn't know what he meant.

Others thought you would always amount to nothing, so you built a wall to protect yourself from the hurt. The one time you did open your heart to someone, it got burnt so badly that it almost blew away in ashes.

You peek over at him, wondering if you and Yoongi are the same. You watch him sit down and lean back in his seat, and he closes his eyes.

"Yoongi?" you ask timidly.

He doesn't move and, in an emotionless voice, says,  "I said leave me alone."

You turn your face towards the window, looking away from him, and whisper, "okay."
