Chapter 10- Tony Is Coming Home

Saige wakes up and shuts off her alarm. 
She crawls out of bed and gets ready. As she is doing her makeup Pepper walks in.  Miss Stark Your father is expected to come home today Pepper informs her. Thanks for letting me know Pepper. Saige says. Pepper smiles and leaves. Saige walks downstairs into the kitchen.  Pepper made eggs and bacon for breakfast.  Saige sits down and Pepper sets a plate in front of her. Enjoy your breakfast, is there anywhere you wanna go today? Pepper asks. Saige looks down at her plate and then looks up. Hmm, there I wanna go to town by the park Saige declares. Saige picks up her phone and text mark. Hey, wanna meet up at the coffee shop? Sure why not see you in a bit? Saige walks out the door and walks down the street. She arrives at the coffee shop. Hey, I guess you did show up mark says. You didn't think I would show up? Saige says confused. It's just I'm not the romantic type you know Mark admits. I get it I have been there Saige reassures him. So you wanna go to the record store down the street Mark asks. Sure I could use some more records Saiges says. They go to the record store and walk around for a bit. After a while, they leave and go to a cafe a few blocks away. As they are sitting there talking her dad lands right outside the window. She doesn't notice until he walks in and everyone is looking at her. Daughter what did I tell you Tony says sternly.  Uhm Hi, Dad uhm he is just a friend we were hanging out Saige says scared.  Oh well come home soon okay Tony says calmly. Yes sir Saige replies. 
Tony walks out and flies off. Mark looks at you in shock. How did you do that Mark Says. Do what Saige answers.
How did your dad not get angry at you Mark Says? Well, he just doesn't unless he is really angry then he just yells but he isn't scary just a man in a suit with a glowy light. Saige tells him. Oh, my dad just yells and grounds me you know normal stuff. Mark says. They walk out of the cafe and start walking down the street. The sun starts to set. Mark says Let me walk you home I don't want you getting hurt. Thanks, Saige says.
Mark and Saige walk to Her house and knock on the door. Tony answers the door. Hello sweetheart, You came home right on time dinner is almost ready Tony says. Thanks, Dad, Saige says. She turns to mark. Thanks for making sure I
Was safe going home Saige says.
No problem I wouldn't want the most popular person in school to get hurt. Mark responds. Mark would you like to stay for dinner? Tony asks. Uhm No Sir I have to get home my father is waiting for me Mark replies. Tony shut the door after Mark leaves.  He was a nice boy who is his father Tony says. Uhm Dad that is Loki's son. Saige says. What you were hanging out with a criminal's son that is not allowed Tony says angrily. Dad Mark was not dangerous he walked me home to make sure I was safe Saige says. I still don't trust him or his father anyways Tony says. . Dinners ready Pepper calls from the kitchen.  Tony and Saige walk to the kitchen.  Pepper sets a plate in front Of each of them. Tony and saige slowly eat their food. This is good Pepper, Saige says. Thank you, Saige Pepper says. It seems you too are getting along Tony says. Yeah, we are working on it Pepper replies.  Hey Pepper, What if we all go out and watch a movie or get our hair and nails done Saige asks. Hmm, that could be fun perhaps we could Pepper answers. After a bit more talking. Saige gets up and goes to her room. She lays on her bed and plays on her phone.  Tony knocks on her door. Come in she yells. Hey sweetheart did you have a good time without me? He asks. No, it's not the say without you here she says. Well did you learn anything new about your abilities he says?  Yeah, I did watch me She says. Saige closes her eyes and sits very still. Her lamp starts to float around the room. Tony is amazed at this. Then she opens her eyes they are glowing purple and her hands are glowing purple. She accidentally shot a blast out of her hands and Tony barely ducks out of the way. Omg, are you okay I didn't mean to do that Saige says worried. It's okay you are still learning Tony says. oh, Dad Pepper knows about them I had an outburst and I blasted them out like a bomb. It's like I'm a ticking time bomb. Saige says. Sweetheart, you are perfect in every way powers or not there is nothing I would change about you. Tony tells her.
Saige hugs him and starts crying.
I love you so much Dad I don't know what I would do without you Saige says through tears. Tony pats her back. It's okay I love you too. Tony says softly. Saige sniffles and tells Tony good night and she goes to sleep.
