Dustin stood in awe at the massive door in front of him that barked the number of his class '1-A'.

'Is this a room of giants or something?' The blond thought to himself grabbing onto the door handle. He opened the door and sure enough, it was a fairly normal looking classroom.

There weren't a lot of students in the room yet but the few that were present were certainly eye catching to say the least.

A boy with the head of a bird, a girl with jacks attached to her earlobes, and the blue haired Poindexter from the entrance exam. They each looked up as he entered, Dustin making eye contact with them one at a time.

The girl simply nodded to him, he did the same in response. He didn't even get a chance to acknowledge the bird boy as four eyes came practically sprinting towards him.

"Good morning, I'm Iida tenya." He stated, holding his hand out.

"Kurokawa Dustin." He replied, taking Iida's hand. "I remember you from the entrance exam, good to see you got in." He added.

"Likewise. Let's have a seat, the rest should be here shortly." Iida proclaimed.

Dustin simply nodded and complied, taking a seat between Iida and the bird boy who silently glanced at him as he sat.

Dustin pulled out his phone and began to mess around with different games to pass the time until the rest of the class filled up.

It'd been at least around twenty minutes before most of the classroom was filled, a wide assortment of colorful characters occupying the remaining desks in the classroom. Despite this development, Dustin was still on his phone, only half listening to the conversation around the room in case a teacher appeared.

Dustin was snapped out of his semi-trance when he heard Iida suddenly stop scolding some ash blond and strut towards the door, attempting to introduce himself to someone, sounding way more apologetic in tone.

Dustin stood up and walked to the door to see who Iida was talking to and found Midoriya standing in the doorway with Uraraka right behind him, both sporting U.A uniforms.

"Hey, green." Dustin greeted, smiling. "Glad to see we ended up in the same class."

"Oh, Kurokawa-san. Good to see you too." Midoriya replied.

The brunette's head popped up from behind the boy's shoulder, a smile wider than the Pacific plastered on her face.

"It's you again!" She exclaimed. "Crazy how the three of us are all in the same class, huh?"

A snort left Dustin. "I'll say."

"Oh this is so nice, I can't wait to meet everybody." She continued.

"If you just here to make friends, you can leave now." A  tired voice said from behind her.

Uraraka and Midoriya slowly turn around while Iida stands on his tip toes and Dustin cranes his neck past them to see just what was going on.

The older man took a sip from a pouch before exiting his bright yellow sleeping bag and getting up. The four of them backed into the classroom as he approached, not quite scared but more confused expressions on their faces.

'The hell's this guy supposed to be?' The blond thought to himself.

The man closed the door and turned to the entire class, who by now had his undivided attention before finally speaking.

"Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa. I'll be your homeroom teacher." He stated, groggily.

There was a heavy silence as the entire class eyed the sleepy man as he pulled his sleeping bag up before unzipping it and reaching inside.

"Right, let's get to it." He said, pulling out a shirt with the school's logo on it. "Put these on and head outside.

...

"What?! A Quirk assessment test?!" The class questioned in unison.

By now, everyone was wearing the gym clothes that tall, dark, and sleepy brought out and were standing on a dirt field just outside the school.

"You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives. But you've never got to use your quirks in physical exams before." He explained, holding up a cell phone.

Dustin found himself only half listening to the lecture( well more like a rant), tuning out most of what was being said and only listening for instructions of any kind.

His eyes scanned the crowd, looking over the multitude of colorful cast of classmates. A tall boy with multiple arms, a short stack with balls on his head, a pink skinned girl, and a girl with raven colored hair tied into a ponytail drew his attention first before his eyes eventually landed on Midoriya.

Dustin began to recall his thoughts about the boy's quirk after the entrance exam, a powerful ability with a body too weak to use it sounds like a disaster in the making without proper guidance.

'I could be missing something here' he thought to himself, stroking his chin. 'Whatever the case may be, that boy needs help. I should probably ask him when I get the chance-'.

For the second time today, Dustin had been snapped out of his thoughts this time by the sound of an explosion going off right in front of him. He perked up and saw the ash blond standing by Aizawa, hand smoking, presumably from that explosion.

He saw Aizawa hold up his phone which displayed the number '705.3' and Dustin quickly put two and two together.

'This'll be a sinch' he thought to himself, smirking a bit.
