"one day before christmas y/n!!!" bill squeeled holding a bag full of gifts.
"i know!" she chuckled helping bill hold the bags. bill was having a hard time walking since his hands are full of gifts. "let me just-" she grabbed 2 of the gifts, putting them in the same bag so that she has nothing to worry about. "woah, i didn't even think of that" he bit his bottom lips and placed the bags at the kitchen counter.
"hey, how'd you know what i want though?" i questioned bill.
"you said it before? when you were crying?" he gave voice. i replied with a hum letting him know that i remember. "also, we need to get ready for tommorow." he reminded.
"oh yeah!" she remembered. "i also got the ingredients yesterday. so, you won't rush tommorow." she took note.
"thanks" he smiled.
i sat down, inspecting bill. who was making dinner.
"what're you doing?" i chuckled.
"i promised tom some chicken so..." he smiled back.
"kinda getting awkward...but i'll tell you a secret." i spoke.
he shivered "this is getting mysterious."
i chuckled at his joke. "no really, i do have a secret." i explained to bill, who seemed like he was invested in the secret. he sat down next to me.
"what is it then?" he examined
"well...if i say it to you, you might unfriend me and never speak to me again." i was afraid if he knew then.
"god, just tell me" he groaned and chuckled.
"fine, when we were 13. i had this telescope-" i explained.
he bit his lip when he heard the word telescope. i didn't know what it meant but i continued my secret.
"and- i always see you on my window..." i ended.
he examined my face for a second until he finally said something. "and?" he asked.
"-and i guess i kinda knew you already? before we went to the ice park." i explained.
he nodded his head, he looked down and thought about something.
"i knew." i heard him mumble.
"what do you mean?" i asked.
i went a little closer to hear him say something.
"i had a drone. and it was wondering around, until i saw your house. i thought i was pretty and went to explore it-" he explained.
i raised my eyebrows at hin to continue the story.
"and then, i saw you. with the telescope. looking towards my house. so i kinda knew it already." he explained.
"wait, how old were you when you saw me?" i interrogated at bill.
"maybe 13?" he confirmed.
"oh my god, we saw each other at the same day!" i exclaimed -"it all makes sense now!"
he thought about it for a second "what do you mean?" he asked.
"i didn't use the telescope until after my birthday." i said, letting him know.
"oh!" he was shocked.
"you know, i thought you'd find it weird." i spoke
he hummed, biting his nails. again.
"wait, i thought you were reading a book back then?" i asked.
"oh no, tom always gets jealous when i use the drone. it was our only gift so we had to share. so whenever i need to use it, i cover it up with my book." he calmly explained. getting up from his seat and started to cut the chicken.
i nodded.
