where'd you find this place?" y/n asked bill who walked beside her.
"i always walk here. whenever i feel sad. this park is great every weather too." he answered. -" uhm- so.. christmas is coming, are you gonna celebrate with your family?" he asked.
"oh? well nope. not gonna consider them a family though." she said while looking up at the snowy flakes.
it was December 1st 2005. so they had only 24 days until christmas.
"i was wondering if you could celebrate christmas with us ? if its okay."
"yeah ! that's no problem..but i don't know your house though?" she said.
"no worries. i'll pick you up" he smiled and wrote down on a piece of paper.
"is this your number?" she asked
"yeah! do you use the electricity now?" he laughed while scratching his neck.
"well i brought my phone?" she stuffed the paper in her pocket while they sat on a bench.
it wasn't an awkward silence though.
the silence was enough to comfort them.
although, there was a little awkwardness.
y/n caught a glimpse of bill biting his nails. she couldnt take her eyes off of it so she stopped him.
"oh sorry. did it annoy you?" he asked
"a little, yeah." she said
he nodded and stopped biting.
"the silence is so awkward. do you maybe wanna... hang around my house for a bit??" he shyly asked her while hiding his blush.
"uh. sure!" she smiled and stood up.
