Part 9

Zith is sitting in the park near her place. It's raining a lot, but she still sit there. Crying while taking off the ring she wears and looking at it. Gerald who just done shopping in a market, passed by the park and saw her there sitting alone. He walk closer to her, putting his umbrella over her. When she realize Gerald is there standing beside her, she quickly wipes her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Ask Zith.

"Nothing, just passing by the park after shopping some food. How about you? Why are you sitting in the rain? You will get sick.." Ask Gerald.

"Nothing, I'm just sitting here, but then it suddenly raining, I didn't bring the umbrella.." Said Zith, lying.

"Then I will walk you back to your place.." Said Gerald.

"Gerald, may I know, why you are being nice to me?" Ask Zith.

"Of course because we have known each other for so long. We are besties right?" Said Gerald.

"Thanks, that's what I want to hear." Said Zith, smiling to him and suddenly standing from her seat to hug him.
   
"Thankyou for always be here.." Said Zith.

Zith hugging Gerald for a few seconds.

"Did you fight again with him?" Ask Gerald.

"Everything is okay.." Said Zith.

"You didn't look okay.." Said Gerald.

"Trust me I'm okay." Said Zith smiling to him.

Gerald who knows every mimic of Zith face telling a different story from her lips, can only keep quiet. He thinks why Zith always smiling? She is hurting but she keep enduring it alone. She should have date him, he can take care of her better than her boyfriend right now. Maybe it is the time he needs to meet and talk face to face with her boyfriend.

After that, Gerald walk her back to her apartment. While walking all the way long to her apartment, they both didn't talk anything and just keep quiet untill they arrive in Zith's apartment.

"Thankyou for walk me back to my place." Said Zith.

"Mhm, you are welcome. Take care and go dry yourself. Don't forget to warm yourself, drink some warm chocolate or tea." Said Gerald.

"Yeah, thanks. You too." Said Zith.

"Good night." Said Gerald.

"Mhm.. night." Said Zith.

After that Zith went to her apartment unit. There she saw Aranda sitting in front of her apartment door from a far. That time, she doesn't want to meet him for a moment. So she end up going out again. Right after she leave she still saw Gerald not far from the apartment building, so she chase him over.

"You said, we are bestie right? Can I.. go to your place for a moment..?" Ask Zith.

"What happen with your place?" Ask Gerald.

"Running out of hot water and gas, I promise I will be back after I'm drying up myself.." Lied Zith.

"Alright, you can come to my place.." Said Gerald.

They both finally come to Gerald apartment. Gerald quickly giving her a towel to dry herself and a dry clothes for her to wear, and she also borrow the bathroom to bath. Right after that he makes a hot chocolate for her.

"Anyway.. where is your sister?" Ask Zith.

"She is still in the company practicing. She will be back late maybe 2AM?." Said Gerald.

"That's so late..." Said Zith.

"Mhm, no worries." Said Gerald.

"Thankyou for borrowing me this hoodie~ It looks big on me hahaha, I will return it to you tomorrow~" Said Zith.

"Hahaha is it too big? I'm sorry then. Since my sister's clothes mostly too opened.. I don't think you wear that kind of clothing.. So I can only borrow you my hoodie." Said Gerald.

"Haha, it's okay, it's more comfy though, anyway, I'll be back after I finish this hot chocolate~ Thankyou for today~" Said Zith.

"You can take your time here if you want." Said Gerald.

"Nop, I don't want to trouble you." Said Zith.

Soon after she finish her hot chocolate she leave the place and go to her office. She doesn't want to go back to her apartment today. She want to stay in her office today.

Meanwhile in other place. Aranda get inside to Zith's apartment. He waits inside the apartment, but then she is not yet coming back. He calls her phone but she is not answering at all. Untill he fell asleep on the sofa.
