Part 12

Nira just left from Aranda's house. At the moment Aranda suddenly feeling confused of what he heard from Nira. Aranda know Zith is close with Gerald, because both of them are a close friend, but then, looking at the photo Nira just shared before it feels like, they are more than a normal bestfriend. Did they ever date each other in the past?

Aranda who is thinking right now currently got call from a number he didn't save and he pick it up. It's a guy voice. Turn out it was Gerald's voice.

"Hi, am I talking with Aranda right now?" Ask Gerald.

"Yeah, it's Aranda, who are you?" Ask Aranda.

"It's me, Gerald." Said Gerald.

"How do you know my number?" Ask Aranda.

"I got it from Zith. I call you because I want to meet up with somewhere. In a cafe?" Said Gerald.

"Nice timing. There is also something I need to ask to you." Said Aranda.

"Alright, I'm currently in Blu Cafe. I will wait for you." Said Gerald.

"Ok." Said Aranda.

The call ended. After the call ended, Aranda quickly go to the cafe. Over there he saw Gerald already sitting, wearing a uniform, Sipping a cup of coffee. Aranda walk closer to his table, and have a seat.

"Oh you already come? That's quick." Said Gerald.

"What is it that you want to talk to?" Ask Aranda.

"Don't you want to order something first so you can calm yourself?" Ask Gerald.

"No. Just tell me what is it." Said Aranda.

"Alright, let me make it quick. Stop making Zith cry. If once again I saw her crying, I won't back off, I will make her mine." Said Gerald.

"Wait, so you want to say to me that, all this time you have a feeling for her?" Ask Gerald, already a little bit annoyed.

"Yes I am. But at the end of day the she choose you." Said Gerald.

"So all this time, you secretly have a feeling for her. Maybe that's the reason you are always be with her lately?" Ask Aranda, talking in sarcasm.

"I must say yes. But to make it clear, isn't it all your fault that she always end up with me? You always busy with another girl and you forgot that Zith is your girlfriend? Am I right?" Ask Gerald.

"Oh nice, but I'm with other girl because of my work. Then you, trying to steal my girlfriend while I'm busy with my work. Right? I hope you can stop intervene my relationship with Zith." Said Aranda.

"Oh, like I could? I will always intervene your relationship, because Zith is an important person for me and I will not let anyone, including you, to hurt her." Said Gerald.

"Nice talk. But you are just her friend, no more than that. Remember? So if you have a manner, you need to back off. Because we are already engaged." Said Aranda.

"You are just her fiance, not her husband yet. So, prepare for the worst if I saw her cry again. If that happen, I will start making my moves." Said Gerald. Right after saying that, he stand up from his seat and leave the cafe. Aranda still sitting in awe. He is annoyed.

Right after leaving the cafe, Gerald's emotion is not stabilize. He is currently in his car, driving. He is driving so fast while memorizing his past.

==============Throwback to his past==============

In a hill. There Gerald is standing looking at the sunrise with Zith, side by side. Both of them still in college. They are having a class outing.

"Look, it is still dark.." Said Zith.

"Yeah, but the sun gonna rise soon.." Said Gerald.

"Still, you wake me up this early just to wait for a sunrise?" Said Zith.

"Mhm, it's pretty. While we are here, we should watch it!" Said Gerald.

"Alright alright.." Said Zith.

"You should also make a wish~" Said Gerald.

"Make a wish under a sunrise? Isn't it supposed to be under the star?" Ask Zith.

"Look, the sun is slowly rising, quick make your wish!" Said Gerald, nudging Zith.

Zith quickly close her eyes alongside with Gerald after seeing Zith closing her eyes.

"Done." Said Zith.

"What are you wishing?" Ask Gerald.

"I'm wishing to have a boyfriend soon~ how about you?" Said Zith. 

"Nice. Mine is secret." Said Gerald.

Actually that day Gerald is wishing that oneday the two of them can date each other.

=========Throwback end==============

Gerald is driving his car super fast. His phone is ringing. It's he want to take it but it is slipping from his hand, he is trying to reach the phone, while he try to reach, a truck is coming from the other side and his car bump with the truck.

In other side, Aranda coming to Zith's place.

"We need to talk." Said Aranda.

"What is it?" Ask Zith.

"We need to talk about Gerald." Said Aranda.

"Why? Didn't I already told you he is only my friend?" Ask Zith.

"Yeah, he told you that. You also think of him as a friend. But is he also think the same as you do?" Ask Aranda.

"What do you mean? You suddenly come and talk bad of him. Are you sick or something?" Ask Zith.

"Because what you said and what he said is different!" Said Aranda.

"You just met him?" Ask Zith.

"Yeah, guess what? All this time he get close to you not because he is nice." Said Aranda.

Suddenly Zith's phone is ringing. She quickly took the call. It's from the hospital.
