Aya remained quiet on the drive back to the Airbnb they resided in. She couldn't stop her mind from continuously drifting to what she heard.
"You okay?" Kai questioned not taking his eyes away from the road, noticing she had been very quiet and stand off-ish since she woke up from her nap.
She pondered the many possibilities of what could be wrong with him, and the fact that it was bad enough that he had to take medication for it worried her.
He was in a good mood, and she didn't wanna bring his energy down in any way so she chose not to bring it up.
"Yeah." She lowly spoke, staring out of the car window, acknowledging every thought that intruded her mind.
"No you not. What's wrong bae? Tell me." He squinted, turning his head towards her.
"Nothing." She mumbled, making him smack his teeth. "You gon tell me later?" He asked tilting his head, and Aya nodded.
"You promise?" He asked her, outstretching his pinky out, "Yes I promise." Aya softly giggled, locking her pinky with his.
It bothered him anytime she would get sad or upset. All he wanted was for her to be happy and he'd do whatever to make sure she was and that she stayed in that state.
"Yooo Adin, wassup with you bro?" Kai spoke, answering the FaceTime call from Adin Ross that buzzed through his phone, as he pulled into the driveway of the Airbnb. "Guess what?" Adin said, and Kai raised his eyebrow.
