A month later

Rachel said she would cook dinner, which meant that she would probably ask Monica to cook dinner or order something, but he always pretended to believe that she had actually cooked. He was curious to know what the reason for dinner was this time, after all since they had returned from their honeymoon she had not prepared anything else. But they had dinner normally and she didn't say anything much, they talked normally about work until it was time for dessert.

"There's no dessert tonight, darling. I have a present for you" - she said with a mysterious smile.

"I love presents," he said excitedly as she placed a gift box on the table.

"Open it then, I think you'll like this one." - He quickly unwrapped the package and it was baby shoes, getting confused for a moment.

"Rach... Does that mean..." - he asked with a special twinkle in his eye and she nodded.

"Apparently our honeymoon was productive," she said.

"Really?" - he asked again with visible emotion.

"Do you want to see the test? I've already done a blood test to make sure" - she explained.

"Of course! When did you find out?" - he wanted to know interested as she got up and ran to her bag.

"This afternoon" - she sat on his lap, showing him the paper.

"I can't believe it," he wiped his eyes.

"Honey, you're really excited,it doesn't seem like it's your third," she said in surprise.

"But it's the first time it's happened when I'm married to the Mom. 'They say that the third time really works," he joked and they both laughed. "Shall we call our parents?"

"I've already told my parents," she said, feeling guilty.

"Well, let's call mine then," he said.

"Monica probably told them," she said with a grimace.

"Monica knew before I did?"

"And Phoebe... "- she ducked her head. "And probably Joey..."

"Damn it, Rach..." - complained.

"You can still tell Emma tomorrow," she reminded him as a consolation prize.

"At least that. But I don't think she'll understand much."

"Ben doesn't know yet either," she argued. "And he's old enough to understand."

"At least there's someone left for me,"he sighed.

"I'm sorry, you know I'm not good at keeping secrets."

"It's okay, it was a great present," he said, stroking her belly. "Now I understand why you served juice at dinner."

"You didn't recognize the little shoe, did you?"

- What do you mean? - he asked confused.

"It was Emma's first shoe, she came out of the maternity with it. I thought we could use the same one for the new baby," she said romantically.

"I think that's a great idea," they exchanged a tender kiss.

"Are you feeling well? Can you still do stuff"? - he asked with a tone full of mischief.

"You'll find that not only can I, but I think about it a lot during pregnancy," she assured him, getting up and pulling him into the bedroom.
