ice cream

Suddenly, someone came down to the floor with napkins to help him with the ice cream.

"You need help with that, pup?

Hyunjin and Seungmin just stare at each other. 

"Why do I keep running into you?" Hyunjin said
"Look, i don't know, but it would be great if you weren't in my way all the time"
Hyunjin chuckles. "Uh huh, sure" 
"No I'm serious, like why are you here?"
"The same reason you're here?"
"Oh, because your friends ditched quality hanging out time with you for their hot history partners?"
"Oh, ummm... no, i just wanted some ice cream"
"..oh...ok, well we should probably clean this mess up, its been here for a while now hehe" Seungmin started to flush in his face because of the embarrassment.

Hyunjin and Seungmin cleaned up the mess on the floor and threw all the napkins away. Now they were just staring at each other again. 

"...soooo...um"
"..sooo....uhh"
"what flavor of ice cream do you like?"
"why are you asking?"
"just answer me"
Seungmin rolls his eyes. "fine, uh, i like chocolate, but i feel like strawberry has been calling my name these last few days."
Hyunjin laughs, "wah, i love chocolate too." Hyunjin stops and thinks for a moment, then he gets an idea and sneakily slips his hand into Seungmin's and intertwines their fingers. 

"come here"
"WAH! where are you taking me?"
"to the counter pup. we're getting ice cream."

Seungmin was weak now. He was letting himself be pulled by Hyunjin instead of pushing him and saying he could walk on his own. He didn't know what was happening to him. He felt his savage slipping away from him and he didn't like it.

But he looked down at the two's hands entwined together and he let out a sigh, knowing he wasn't going to savage his way out of this one, and he didn't want any more problems. 

"I'll let it slide, just for today tho"

"Hi, can we have one of strawberry and one order of chocolate please?" Hyunjin places his order while Seungmin is still looking down at their hands.
"OK, pup, on a cone or in a cup?"

"That voice" Seungmin thought, "I could've sworn I've heard it before....eh, maybe it's just me"
"What would you like, pup?"
"Uh, cup 'cause i don't want it melting in the sun."
"Ok, two cups please."
"Ok, your total will be 8.72."
Hyunjin let go of Seungmin's hand to pull out his wallet, slipping out a $10 bill. "this one's on me pup" he winked.
"Ok, thank you. I'll have your ice cream ready in about 2 minutes."
"Alright pup, let's go find a seat." Hyunjin intertwined his fingers with Seungmin's again and led him to the tables. 

*2 minutes later*

"Alright y'all, here's your ice cream, enjoy!" the same cashier guy came to the table they were sitting at, served them their ice cream and left.

"Nah, am i trippin, I know I've heard that voice before" Seungmin thought again, but this time he looked up.

"CHANGBIN?!" he shouted, loud enough for the whole shop to hear him.

"OMG SEUNGMIN IS THAT YOU?!" Changbin shouted back. He ran back to their table and Seungmin jumped out of his seat to meet him face-to-face. Changbin and Seungmin engulfed each other in a big hug and swayed side to side while laughing. If you couldn't already tell, they missed each other. A lot

Guess who didn't like it?

Hyunjin dipped his spoon in the ice cream and was about to eat it, but he heard Seungmin and Changbin running towards each other. While he stares at them hugging, he didn't know why, but he felt some sort of jealousy rise in him. He didn't like how Changbin was the one hugging him and not him. Yeah, it might seem wrong, since they only met today, but.........he can't help himself, and neither can his feelings.

Seungmin and Changbin let go of each other and Seungmin asked, "How have you been?"
Changbin replies, "Y'know, I've been good, finally getting a job and stuff. School is still stressing me out, per usual."
Seungmin laughs, "That's nice. Hey! Maybe when you're not working, we could hang out sometime and catch up!"
"Yeah sure! I'd love to! Uhhh, how's Friday?"
"Yeah, I'll meet up with you after school."
"Sounds great! Oh my shift's over! I'll see you on Friday Seungminnie!" Changbin said, softly pinching Seungmin's cheeks. Seungmin shows a wide and adorable smile.

Hyunjin sighs, "i want to make him smile like that."

Seungmin sat back down in his chair and started to eat his ice cream. He then looks up to see Hyunjin glaring at him.

"What?"
"Oh, uh, n-nothing"

Seungmin looks down in his hand and almost chokes from holding in his laugh.

"Hey, you ok?"
"Your spoon is snapped in half"

Hyunjin also looks down in his hand to see the pink, delicate spoon in two pieces. 

"huh, it kind of happened, i guess"
"uh huh, sure, ok" Seungmin comments sarcastically

Hyunjin and Seungmin throw out their trash and walk out the shop, but all Seungmin can talk about is Changbin, their friendship, and their past.

"AISH! Will you stop talking about him for a minute, you're hanging out with mee!" Hyunjin tries to be sulky. 

"boy i-"
