It was the end of the day and everyone was getting ready to pack up and leave school because it was the last day, which was nice because I had started to think that the stacks of papers would be endless! I grabbed my backpack out of my bottom locker and sat back down as the bell rang. So I got up from my seat and started walking quickly to the doors outside. Once I left the school doors I started running to my bus. I hopped onto my bus and the doors closed behind me and I sat down looking outside of the foggy window. Sooner or later I arrived back at my house. Once I arrived home I saw my dad waiting for me outside of our car in the driveway with an anxious face. I walked up to him and asked what was wrong as he answered,
“Mason, I need to tell you something important.”
I was wondering what he wanted to tell me but before I could ask he said,
“Now Mason, you have to listen to me when I tell you this okay?”
I this time answered, “Ok, what is it?”
My dad motioned for me to get in the car and I got in and buckled up as he started to drive.
“I have to take you to this camp, okay?” He said, as I answered,
“But why? Is it like summer camp?”
My dad sighed,
“I’ll tell you when we get closer to camp.”
It was a very quiet car ride. As we approached the end of the neighborhood I saw a girl with long brown hair and gray eyes running towards us.------------
