Fourth of July Weekend, me and Uriel got into a huge fight. Honestly, I thought it was the end of our relationship, it was that bad... during our break is when I met him when I met Ayiro (Arrow). There weren't too many dudes who could dominate me but that nigga Ayiro, something about the way he towered over me, his dark chocolate skin, deep yet smooth voice.... I'll admit, I was intrigued and after we fucked I was hooked... but my heart was always with Uriel, so when he called in early September wanting to work things out (mainly because he knew he was in the wrong) I had no problem cutting things off with Ayiro. When the question was posed if I had been with anyone else, I didn't lie... where the lie comes in is when I told him it was a one-night stand... if you take that number and multiply it by around 150 it would be closer to the truth. Me and Ayiro literally spent a good 90 days fuckin, sometimes three or four times a day. In parking lots, parks, gym showers, his apartment, the backseat of my car, in dressing rooms at the mall.... there was no place that was off-limits. When I cut him off, I literally cut him off with no explanation and yet here he was in my cousin's house seemingly analyzing the connection between me and Uriel.
"This is Ayiro, he has some insight into Papa Tunde that could be useful." Damon said watching me, as far as I knew, Damon had no idea about my brief history with Ayiro but he knew me well enough to sense something was off.
"How do we know we can trust this nigga? I mean, for all we know he could be working with Papa Tunde and he sent this nigga here to spy on us." I said causing everyone to look at me. "You really approved this? Damn, Nolo I thought you were smarter than that." I said trying to make a joke out of the situation though no one laughed.
"Ayiro has been properly vetted by me and given his motivation, he has just as much reason to want to see Papa Tunde handled as everyone in this room." Manolo said staring at me as if he was ready to swing, I guess he was finally getting tired of the slick comments... Maybe we just needed to throw hands and get it over with.
"Peyton, we agreed to let Manolo take point on this... let him." Uriel whispered and I begrudgingly nodded my head because I wasn't trying to argue with him tonight, especially since we still haven't had a proper reunion. "Not to step on your toes but you won't mind if I do my own vetting, do you?" Uriel asked and Manolo shrugged.
"Now that y'all are finished questioning my character, can I explain why I'm here?" Ayiro asked, I had been around him enough to know that he was annoyed and I just knew I was going to have to deal with him in private a little later.
"The floor is yours Aaron...." I said purposely messing up his name, a smile tugged at the corner of his lips as I sat on the couch and tried to figure out the best way to escape as soon as this meeting was over and done with.
"My history with Papa Tunde is actually pretty recent, after a recent fling (he glanced in my direction) I started talking to this dude, we were in the process of getting to know each other and... my little brother.... somehow he got mixed up with The House of Villano... while I was on a trip with this dude he started feeling guilty and admitted that the plan was to get me away.... They knew how protective of my brother I was and when I was gone....." Tears formed in Ayiro's eyes but he quickly forced them away and I could tell that his heart was destroyed.
"That's how he got on my radar... Ayiro was about to run up in there guns blazing but I stopped him. We talked and figured it was best if we worked together." Damon said still watching me, he was going to want answers.
"Well, it's like Uriel said... it's Manolo show, I know my role and I'll play my part perfectly...." I said shrugging.
We spent the next two hours discussing The Ball that was rapidly approaching and I tried to hide the fact that I was annoyed because Manolo was talking in vague terms which left me with more questions than answers. Once he was finished everyone started breaking off into little groups, Uriel went to speak with Damon and after a few seconds, I realized that I was left alone with Ayiro.
