It was early in the morning, around nine am. Chuuya found himself dozing off during the lecture. Maybe it was the early autumn energy or the approximately three hours of sleep he had gotten last night, but he was just so unbelievably tired.

It felt like it'd take one more blink for him to fall into a deep slumber and venture to the world of his dreams; but he didn't want that.

After high school, he was really unsure of what to do with his life. He wasn't exceptionally great at just about any subject, but it was something to do with physics and design tht had always attracted him, so somehow, he got into the Bungou college to study aeronautical engineering.

He figured that, if it was something he found interesting, then he would study and truly do his best. But about two weeks in, it became clear that that was not the case.

Needing to go for a piss and wanting to stretch out his legs, he decided on taking a trip to the restroom.

The sound of his shoes clanking against the large tile floor echoed through the unusually quiet hallway. It was weird, so empty and spacious, yet just about twenty minutes ago it was packed full with students, rushing to their classes and what not.

The blue door with the sign which said 'mens restroom' on it creaked as Chuuya pushed it open, being met with the smell of cigarette smoke.

On the probably insanely dirty floor, backs against the wall next to the multiple stalls and the few sinks, sat two figures.

A short, young looking male with short, neatly styled black hair. A pair of round, gold trimmed glasses rested on his face. In his hand was a bag of chips, with crumbs scattered around the boy.

Beside him was a taller and slighty older looking latter. His hair was curly and of a dark brown color, his bangs almost falling over his eyes, which at that moment were closed shut. The long sleeves of his shirt covered the most of his arms but just looking at the way they wrapped around his hands, Chuuya could tell they likely covered most of his body.
He held a lit cigarette, which explained the smell from earlier.

The two didn't pay any attention to the ginger that had just entered the room, continuing on with their talking and casual giggling - which sounded like that of teenage girls, squealing about a new crush.

Even though Chuuya was quite used to the scent of cigarettes - not only because of his parents, but he also smoked every now and then himself - the large amount of smoke that made it through his barely parted lips made him cough and wheeze like a dramatic child choking on some food. Which did eventually catch the attention of the two men sat on the filthy bathroom floor.

Embarrassed, he hurried into the stall furthest away from them, as much as he wanted to bear his teeth at them. But really, that would have arguably been even more embarassing.

Finishing up his business and washing his hands, while leaving, his eyes fell upon the guy who was all bandaged up. His deep brown eyes pierced through Chuuya. They were intelligent, mysterious, and something about them captivated him. Even though they were bloodshot and the pupils seemed the size of a planet, they were charming.

However, there was no way he could stand there and stare into his eyes - as much as he wished he could - so he turned around and left the restroom.

Swooning over some guys that he'd just met eyes was not something he would ever admit to. Firstly, because well, it was a guy. Chuuya wasn't gay. And secondly, he had this dumb smirk on his face that made the ginger furious. And most importantly, they had just met!

Enough of that; he walked back to class and slept through the rest of the probably uneventful lesson.

The whole day felt like it took years to pass by. Each lecture felt like it was days, even the breaks took ages to come to an end. And yet, in almost every corner of the building his attention was directed to that bandaged freak from the bathroom.
