'don't do it',
Hardin said as I got myself ready to jump into the pool from the roof, I rolled my eyes at the boy,
'your opinion is not needed Scott','
I yelled as I backed myself away to get a run-up, Hardin climbed onto the side of the pool so he was still able to see me. I was getting ready to jump in when Hardin said something completely unexpected,
'why don't you ever listen to the people who love you?!',
Hardin yelled in annoyance. I stopped and walk to the edge of the roof, I put my hands on my hips,
'oh so you love me now?',
I questioned looking at Hardin unimpressed, he began to grin at me, I rolled my eyes at him.
'Hardin you can't just say that okay',
I said walking over to the ladder so I could climb down and avoid this conversation. I began to walk down the ladder and I saw Hardin follow me grabbing a hold of it while I walked down,
'Hardin I don't need your help',
I hissed at him but he didn't let go of the ladder. I reached the bottom and immediately turned away from him going to walk into the other direction, Hardin grabbed a hold of my wrist stopping me,
'stop y/n, you keep doing things that could cause you harm because you're scared. You're scared of loving me and that's okay but don't close yourself off because you were hurt in the past',
Hardin yelled grabbing both of my hands, I felt tears began to form in my eyes as I looked at the ground avoiding his eyes,
'you need to trust me'.
