Chapter 2

Its been 10 days since they went missing. I've been losing my sanity a little more every day. I knew something was off then the twins never made it back to us on race day. I've lost the 3 people closest to me and everyone else is acting like it's completely normal. No one is giving me any clues, Ben has said that Charlie got released due to some evidence that has arisen and the twins are reported 'missing'. I've spent most of my time either in the garage pulling cars apart or at the farm helping Harry. I can't focus in lessons and I've had more people by the throat than I can count. I've gone back down the hatch several times at different times of day but I can't find them or anything that would lead to them. But something tells me they're still on site. Harry has been helping me trying to find out what's happened, it's a risk bringing him in but he had always been separated from the rest of the faculty and he's worried about them too. He's trying to get back in with the teachers without raising suspicions so it's a long slow process.

I've been trying to see if anyone is changing their routine, missing from lessons or anything but nothing is showing up, so my only conclusion is that they aren't the first to be taken and I doubt they'll be the last. I've been trying to make contact with people outside of here to get some kind of investigation underway but no one is replying to me. My next step today is to break into somewhere and get hold of someone's phone like a teacher or guard or something. I've been watching the guard patrol and I've got a few places I know will give me a ten minute window to get inside and try to find a phone.

I message all my teachers to say I won't be in school today so they don't come looking for me. I chuck a dark tracksuit on and head out of the door. The house is a complete state, I've smashed so much shit up and not done the washing up or anything. I think ive had six hours of sleep in the last week, but I'm used to no sleep so that's not an issue. I make my way to the front of the village, taking a direct route because the last thing I need is someone pointing out I'm acting suspiciously. I should have timed it just right, as I come down towards the 'entrance house' I see one team heading to the right and one team heading to the left. Perfect.

I do a quick check to make sure no one is around then I hop the back gate to the house. It's always open as guards are always coming and going, the back rooms are only used when new inmates come but we haven't heard of anyone new so fingers crossed they're empty. I let myself in the backdoor quietly and listen out for any noise, all I can hear is the receptionist at the front nattering away to someone on the mainline phone. I have to try and find a spare mobile, I know she has a personal one but that would be too risky. I head upstairs to Ben's office, he should be in his other office at the school as its a Tuesday. I knock on the door incase, but there's no reply, I try to open the door but it's locked. I reach around the door frame and luckily there is a key ontop, fucking moron. Letting myself in I lock it behind me, that will give me some time if someone does come and try to get in. I start with his desk hoping he will have a burner phone in one of the drawers. I ruffle through the 4 drawers and it's nothing more that some bits of paperwork. I then head for the filing cabinets, the key is literally in the slot so that's easy enough. Again it's just paperwork on the inmates, I don't have time to look at them this time. On the last drawer I notice it's smaller on the inside than the others, bingo! It has a false bottom, inside is a couple of handguns some spare magazines and a couple of burners. I grab a gun, a mag and a burner, hopefully he doesn't check this drawer often... but then again he isn't going to know I'm here. I quickly lock it back up leaving the key in the cabinet then listen at the door incase anyone is nearby, there is no noise so I quietly let myself out and leave the house through the back and hop the fence again. That was nearly too easy, I guess they never think anyone is going to try and rile against them. I head to the garage first, I need to look like I'm doing something vaguely normal. Atleast no one comes to bother me there.
