Bambi (Charlie)
I wake up and my whole body aches, its a good ache though and my memories come flooding back from last night. Dax degraded me so much but it didn't make me feel like shit, if anything it egged me on, when those words come from his tongue they make me feel powerful not weak. I stretch out my body under the sheets and feel each muscle groan and complain at me. Dax's arm reaches around me and pulls my back towards him before burying his face in my neck and falls asleep again mumbling something unintelligible under his breath. I smile and snuggle into him for a while. I go to reach for my phone and realise its not on my bedside table. It must still be in the library. I wriggle out of Dax's grasp and giggle when he grabs one of my pillows and snuggles that instead. I head to the library and my phone is where I propped it up against a few books on the floor, its ran out of battery so I put it back on charge in the bedroom before heading to the kitchen and making myself a coffee then I grab a book and climb out of the library window to watch the morning come alive from the roof.I'm a couple of chapters in when I hear my voice being called from inside, I poke my head back in the window.
"I'm out on the roof." I hear footsteps and then Dax appears in the library doorway. He's only wearing boxers and his hair is stuck out in all directions. He looks like an adorable teddy bear which makes me smile.
"What's got you smiling firecracker." He asks with a grin.
"Just you, I love you Dax." That makes him grin even more. "There's a pot of coffee downstairs if you want any. I'm just out here enjoying a book."
"Well I won't disturb you beautiful. I just wanted to let you know I'm heading to the garage this afternoon if you wanted to come and join me?"
"Yeah that sounds good. Come and get me when you want to go." He nods and disappears off again. I sit back down and turn back to my book, it's called Sinners playground and I am absolutely obsessed. The main character Rogue is a fucking badass. I finish the first book just as Dax comes through the window carrying a plate of sandwiches.
"I thought you might want some lunch before we headed to the garage." I grab a chicken salad sandwich off the plate and groan my appreciation.
"That's better than sex." Dax snorts at me.
"Well I think I might just take offence to that Bambi."
"Sorry but it's true!" I say with a giggle and Dax looks at me in shock.
"Rude."
"I'm only pulling your leg you big baby." Luckily that makes him smile and he sits down beside me before grabbing his own sandwhich.
"Wow you might be right there Bambi!"
"You should quit the garage and go make sandwiches for a living." I say with a big smile. He turns to me and laughs. "What?!" He reaches over and swipes his thumb over my chin. It comes away with a big glob of mayonnaise on it. I lean my face forwards and suck his thumb into my mouth, wrapping my tongue around his thumb before letting out a moan. His eyes darken with a look of pure sin. I shove at his shoulder. "Come on, get those filthy thoughts out of your brain otherwise we will never make it to work." Dax shakes his head at me smiling.
"Good point, come on let's go."
I run upstairs to put on some different clothes and grab my phone from the charging cable and meet Dax downstairs. We walk to the garage and I pull up the list of cars that need working on. There's a few services and a head gasket that needs doing. I grab the keys for the car with the head gasket and leave dax to do the services. Before long we're both in our own little worlds working on the cars. Its an easy afternoon and it feels good to be back at work again. I've read so many books in the last couple of weeks, which don't get me wrong as great. But I'm glad to have something else to keep me occupied as well now.
