Eshaal's POV.

Ok guys!.

I made the cake!!!!.

It looks beautiful!.

A freaking golden globe!.

"Looks edible", Zach said staring at the cake like it was some irrelevant thing.

This guy!!.

"It is edible!", I argue making him raise his hand In surrender.

I grab a knife and cut slices for us to eat.

He grabs an edge of the cake and whispered a 'Bismillah'(In the name of Allah) before hesitatingly nibbling on the cake.

I waited for him as he continued chewing.

He took another moderate bite this time.

"This is actually good", he complimented taking another bite again.

"I told you", I respond and pat my back."7-stars". I brag.

"I Didn't say 7-stars though", he said

"Your opinion isn't needed in that case". I teased.

"Good one. Finally had your revenge?", He asked as he takes his last bite.

"Feels really good", I tell him and take a bite of my cake.

"Isn't revenge supposed to be Haram?", He asked as he put both hands in his hoodie pocket.

"Says the guy who didn't know dating was Haram",I said innocently eating my cake and looked up to smile at him.

"That was a mistake. I was out of it then. Daft", He said and I couldn't agree more.

"Correction; Very...Daft", I said with a cheeky smile making him force a smile back.

"Have your fun", he said in surrender.

"Thank you. I'd do that". I said immitating his British accent.

I did the dishes and he helped.

It was dhuhr time so I decided to go pray. I was walking to the room when I got called back.

"Umm Eshaal?", He called. He never really calls my name so that was kinda foreign.

I turned around and hummed in response.

"Can...can you plz...umm...help me remember how to do the ablution...", As he said that I couldn't help but smile. His head was down while saying this."it's been so long...".

"It's ok. I'd love to help".I said gladly."It'll be better if you say the shahada again. More like to renew your vows kind of", she smiled."I'll say it with you".

"But you're already Muslim and praying?". He asked.

"There's nothing wrong with a Muslim saying that again. It's more like reaffirmation of the fact that you believe in Allah, subhanahu wata 'alah, and his prophets and messengers, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon them and his books and angels. Besides, I say the shahada everyday when I pray".

"Oh ok". He rubs the back of his neck.

"Would you like to sit?", I said with a smile and I saw he's a little taken aback but just nodded.

"Ok...repeat after me", I told him and he nods again.

"Ash-hadu...".

"Ash-hadu"

"An la...".

"An la"

"Ilaha...".
