"No but seriously, what kind of person would do that in public?" Jiwoong managed to get out before succumbing to another bout of laughter.
The kids at table 13 were all doubling over with laughter at Anthonny and Keita's stories about their friends and their shenanigans back home. Apparently, they were good friends with a bunch of people: Haruto, Hiroto, Takuto, Nako, Riki, Shotaro, Yuta, Sakura, Hitomi, Kazuha and a lot more. They had a huge friend circle and they were constantly up to a lot of nonsense, especially with Haruto and Yuta. Haruto and Takuto had also come to Korea, under a different programme that lasted shorter than theirs. Unfortunately, Takuto wasn't in SAA, but he was doing fine.
"He said that? Are you for real?" Bahiyyih was gasping for air at this point, laughing till her stomach hurt. Sunoo was recording everything for his best friends who loved gossip: Cha Woongki, Seo Won, Chen Kuanjui, Haruto and a few more. His hobby was spilling the tea to all the involved.
On the opposite side, table 17 were also having fun. Mashiro and Hikaru were obviously telling them the same stories. Eunchae appreciated that there were girls at her table now - the boys were fun, but there were times when they couldn't relate.
Cafeteria food was rice, soup and some fish, as well as seaweed and kimchi. When he saw Mashiro making a face, Matthew said, "Hey, this food is a lot better than what we get in Canada."
"No... I'm allergic to seafood, so I can't eat the fish." Mashiro sighed. Her dietary restriction had always been a problem for her. However, Hikaru happily plucked the fish off her tray and put it on her own. "Well, I can solve that problem!" That was when the entire table burst into laughter again.
While they were all having fun, table 14 kids were watching them - Wang Zihao, Chen Kuanjui, Yoo Seungeon, Ji Yunseo, Zhang Shuaibo, Cha Woongki, Seo Won, and Haruto. The kids were familiar with most of the group - Kuanjui was good friends with Zhang Hao, Woongki, Seowon and Haruto were close to Sunoo, Seungeon was one of Taerae's good friends, Haruto was the Japanese's friend, and Yunseo was one of the most popular in the school. The reason? He bore a resemblance to Boo Seungkwan, one of the most talented alumni of the school. It didn't hurt that his cousin was a top female idol and the centre of JYP Entertainment's best-selling girl group, TWICE, either. The students were constantly pestering Yunseo for Nayeon's autograph.

Table 14 was... strange, to say the least. All of them were either crazy popular or extremely talented. No one wanted to cross them. Some of them were really friendly, sure, but as a group, they gave off scary vibes. Zihao, Kuanjui, Haruto and Seowon were the best dancers in the school (apart from Hanbin, Gunwook and Yujin); Seungeon was Taerae's biggest rival when it came to singing; and the others were... well, the popular squad. So they weren't people you wanted to cross, especially when they were all together.
And at table 13, while the conversations continued, Ricky was quietly observing Shiqi. Seeing her so chatty was... a surprise, to say the least. She was more open and friendly. And without that frown permanently stuck on her face, she was cute. Instead of of the bookish nerd that hated almost everyone, she was now a social top student who was nice to everyone she met. It suited her well.
He smiled, thinking about the ice queen she had once been. He didn't like her then, but she was a whole new person now. Becoming friends with Eunchae so quickly, finding instant chemistry with Zhang Hao, rekindling old friendships with Anthonny... everyone liked her, and Ricky was no exception. He took to this new version of Shiqi.
Keita's voice jolted him out of his sea of thoughts, bringing him back to reality. "Yuta really outdid himself that time, with that acting. Oh, Sakura was mad. You should have seen her face. Shotaro was also such a genius for coming up with such an amazing prank." Anthonny was also reenacting the scene, imitating what Sakura's expression would have been. The accuracy of it made Keita laugh even harder.
Hikaru continued to talk to the table 17 kids. "Yuta is such a prankster, and Shotaro is a genius. After that, Sakura never let them go anywhere alone again. Mashiro literally had to follow them everywhere." Mashiro nodded, confirming the story.
That day, new bonds were forged, stories were shared over good food, and the school came back to life.
