Yuxin convinces Haeun to come with her to watch the race this weekend.
Haeun agrees, simply because she needs to get away from her family for just a little bit until she finds someone willing to fake date her so her family can simply just stop talking about her love life. Or at least, talk about it on a lesser scale. Perhaps they can focus on Hajoon's love life now.
She is all too used to third-wheeling Yuxin and Lando now, watching as the happy couple walks alongside her, their hands linked together.
As a friend of Yuxin's, Haeun's had the privilege to befriend a lot of the drivers, and their girlfriends too. Yuxin's especially close with Lily, Alex's girlfriend, and in turn, Haeun's gotten quite close to the golfer as well. She spots Lily with Alex in the paddock, and she waves at her, and Lily waves back, telling Haeun that she'll find her in a little bit.
There's a small smirk on Yuxin's lips when she spots Oscar, and Haeun notices this. She looks at Lando, who seems to mirror the same expression as his girlfriend. Lando calls Oscar over, and the Australian boy walks up to the three of them, taking a sip of his water.
"Morning," Oscar says. He gives Haeun a small smile when he sees her, and Haeun reciprocates the gesture. Haeun has always heard Yuxin talk about him highly. She hasn't talked to him often, but from the short interactions that she's had with him, she knows that he's very nice.
"Oscar, have you solved that issue of yours?" Lando suddenly asks, and Haeun furrows her eyebrows, confused. Is this a private conversation? Should she leave?
"Do you think it's super easy to find someone willing to fake date? Of course I haven't solved the issue." Oscar says, and Haeun's eyes widen. She looks at Yuxin, who's grinning widely at her. No wonder why her friend was so adamant on Haeun coming along to the race.
