The rest of the final battle arc is going to be fragmented and I won't write all of it, as most of you probably knows what happens anyways
This is also taking place in the same world as '4 Years' (my Sanegiyuu story), but that doesn't affect this plot line at all :)

As they ran through the confusing maze of the infinity castle, Inosuke began to notice tiny aches in his body that were only getting worse. "Kanaro, the bandages aren't working!" He shouted.

"We didn't dress them with medicine or stitch them up, that's why." She didn't even bother trying to get him to say her name correctly.

"Why not??"

"Because we don't have any." Kanao paused. "If we survive, we'll get our wounds taken care of properly."

If? Inosuke cocked his head, then faced forward once more.

The crow matched their pace, guiding them through the labyrinth. Every so often a new crow could be seen flying as fast as it could through the fortress, a paper eye stuck to its chest to help it assist the new master in mapping out the structure.

They must have been going for a whole ten minutes, dashing through the twisted, dimly lit hallways, hoping they wouldn't run into any lesser demons they'd have to waste their time on. The bandages wrapped around their wounds slowly began to stain red, blood seeping through the fabric and collecting in its folds. Inosuke was getting impatient, glaring up at the bird through his mask. "Hey, how much longer!?"

"A bit!"

"Inosuke-"

"Shut up, I can sense something!"

Kanao fell silent, the only sound filling the air becoming the pattering of their footsteps and the flaps of their crow companion's wings. Another minute passed. I wonder what it was he felt?

There was a blind turn coming up, and she slowed down a bit. The crow did too, just in time to avoid crashing into another one of its kind that came flying around the corner. The two birds flapped around for a bit, waiting for their human charges to catch up.

Kanao recognized the whining complaints that came from Zenitsu, and she paused to glance his wounds over when he came into view.

"What happened to him?" Inosuke questioned, sounding a bit uncaring. "And who's this guy?" He pointed at the demonslayer supporting Zenitsu as they stood there.

"Huh- we've met!!" Murata protested.

"Are you stupid?? I fought an uppermoon all alone and now everything hurtsss!!" Zenitsu cried, flopping backwards onto the floor.

"I'm not stupid! Canoe and I fought Uppermoon Two and we're fine!" Inosuke cackled victoriously.

"You're going to bleed out. That's not 'fine'," Zenitsu muttered under his breath. "Stupid boar."

Kanao made a move to treat the yellow-haired boy's wounds, but Murata shook his head. "We already patched him up. He's just whining about the pain."

"No I need more bandages or I'll die!! I'm sure of it!" Zenitsu screeched.

"Do you want to draw more demons to us while you're like this?" The older slayer crossed his arms, looking down at the boy with disdain.

"Noo!!!"

When Kanao still looked doubtful, Murata put on a serious expression. "Seriously. He's fine for now."

Inosuke crouched down next to Zenitsu and poked him in the ribs. "Maybe you should go to sleep," he suggested. "You get creepy strong when you're asleep."

"Sleep? Now?? At least now I know you're insane," Zenitsu growled, swatting the younger's hand away. He narrowed his eyes as he sat up, putting his hands behind him for support.

As the two boys began to bicker, Kanao turned once more to Murata to ask him some questions. "So where were you two headed?"

"The crow said it was bringing us to some other slayers we could stick with. I guess that's you guys."

The Tsuguko nodded. "Where now?" She asked the two corvids.

The larger of the birds pecked the other on its head and flew off, beating its wings to gain speed. Looking up at the girl, the remaining crow hesitated for a second. After it's moment of pause, it cawed "Your next destination is Muzan Kibutsuji!"

"The demon boss?"

"Him?!"

Murata frowned deeply, pretty much accepting the fact that if he joined in the battle he'd die. He wasn't indestructible like the younger slayers seemed to be.

"Oh.."

"Follow me north!" Taking off down a new corridor, the crow spread its wings to their fullest extent. Inosuke was the first to follow, chasing it without hesitating once. Kanao and Murata raced after him, leaving Zenitsu there stunned.

"Am I the only one here who values being alive?! And that hallway wasn't there before!! Where'd it come from??" After realizing he was going to be left behind, Zenitsu sprung up and started trailing behind his friends. "Wait up! Don't leave me!"
