I had finally gotten to ny and moved into my apartment. All of my furniture and band merch was up. I could finally get a good night's rest, but before I did that, I wanted to walk around and get to know where everything is. When I got to the bottom floor of the apartment complex, I saw people gasping and rushing to the windows. I caught a glimpse out of one of the windows, and what I saw was what you'd probably never want to see.
It was some girl in a yellow leather jacket standing in the middle of the road.
APRIL'S POV
---------------------------------------------
I was having trouble concentrating and couldn't stop thinking today. Every time I go to do something I start to drift off into no where... It's like a deep void that keeps swallowing me, even if I try my best to pay attention, it just kept swallowing me back. As I waited on the edge of the side walk, the go sign for walkers appeared, and I made my way towards the other side, but when I was half way there, the void came back and left me there standing. A car horn stirred me back to reality, and a pair of headlights blinded me as they got closer. I felt a pair of hands push me out of the way.
AUTUMN'S POV
----------------------------------------------
I frantically pushed my way through the crowd, pushed through the double doors, and before it was too late, I tried pushing the girl out of the way. A few cars started swirling towards us, before they could reach the girl and I, I stopped the cars with my hands, leaving huge dents in the side of the vehicles. When the vehicles stopped, they kinda formed a circle around us, giving us the advantage to leave before any camera crew caught sight of this. I quickly picked the girl off the ground and scrammed out of the huge traffic block. As I put the girls arm over my shoulders, and my arm on her right hip so she could walk better, I asked her what her name was, and why it was so necessary to try to commit suicide in the middle of the damn road.
"April, April Oneil, and I wasn't trying to commit suicide, I was trying to cross the road, and for some reason I blacked out," she replied. That name was so familiar, I thought to myself. And she kinda looks familiar too. So, April Oneil, you got a place to stay?, I ask. "Well, my place is on the other side of town, could I possibly stay at your place?", she asks. Uh, sure, I say. I looked over to my left side, I felt someone starring at us, and a certain energy, but nothing was there.
