CHAPTER 3

Monday soon rolled around, and we were back to Sky High. As we were stepping off the bus, Ron started the usual spiel.
"Welcome to Sky- Hey!"
I rolled my eyes at Speed, who was now wearing Ron's bus driver hat.
"If you're not gonna respect me, at least respect the hat," Ron muttered, as Lash scoffed.
"Guys, give Ron his hat back," Will tried to reason, a newfound Monday confidence clearly making him forget who he was messing with.
"Okay, you're the sidekick- give him his hat back," Lash said, throwing it in a muddy puddle.
"What's the matter Kennedy?" Speed asked with a chuckle.
"You guys need to knock it off." I said my glare getting intense. I Rolled my eyes. Lash grabbed me by arm and said, "cmon princess lighten up."
I looked back as we walked away sending Ron a small smile.

I'm walking next to lash because we both have a free period. Speed was stuck finishing a test so it was just the two of us.  "So l, princess what is your story?" He looks at me as we sit down at a private bay window that over looks the sky. It was raining out.  "It is a long story." I say.
"We have an hour." Lash replies.
"Well when I was five my mother and siblings were killed in an alley way in Gotham. I barley remember anything all I remember is waking up in a hospital where I was taken in by my Aunt Chrissy. She was the nurse that was taking care of me. She eventually adopted me after I was released from the hospital. I had to stay a bit longer because I had 2 bullets in my shoulder." I sighed.
"Yeesh. So where did the bullets hit you?"
Lash asked
My jacket was around my waist so I pulled my shirt down and off my shoulders to show the circular scars that were in my collarbone.
Lash just stared at me.
We just sat there awkwardly and then I broke the silence saying that I should read the textbook.

I looked up to see lash just staring at me. "You ok?" I asked? He scooted closer to me so that his feet were touching the wall next to me and his face not to far from mine. "Just admiring your beauty." At this point, I was blushing. He moved his face so his nose just barely touched mine. All the sudden his lips smash into mine. I feel him steady himself as he grabs my hips. It takes me a second but I wrap my arms around his neck. He pushed me against the wall as his tongue brushed my lips⪻AN forgive me. I might be kinda bad at these certain thing 😅 please tell me if I should not write like this ⪼

The kiss started to deepen my alarm that says it is almost lunch goes off. He pulls back his forehead pressing softly on mine. "Well, I guess that is my que to walk to lunch with you." He smirks. His hands still on my hips and my arms around his neck. "Are you sure?" I tease.
"Don't tempt me." He reached down and squeezed my ass. I yelpled slightly. He pressed his lips softly against mine once again. "Cmon lover boy let's go." I grabbed his hand and led him down the hallway.

We let go of each others hands and he walked across the cafeteria over to speed who had just stolen poor Ethan's pudding cup. I sighed.
All the sudden, lash tripped Will making him fall and his food land on... Warren!

"Uh... sorry," Will started.
"You will be," Warren growled.
"Hey let's not do this-" Will tried.
"You think you can do whatever you like just because your name is Stonghold?" Warren yelled.
I had never seen him this angry before... Which says a lot because that seems to be his permanent mood.
, beginning to stand up, hands out in a surrender type scary type  manner.
"Look I'm sorry my dad  put your dad in jail-"
Will spouted.
"Shit shit." I thought

Everyone in the cafeteria watched, wide-eyed at the sight. Never before had anyone used their powers outside of the classroom to threaten another student. Will started slowly trying to back away as Warren advanced.
Warren started manipulating his fire into balls, and Will used his already empty lunch tray in an attempt to block the first shot, but was left with a melted hole in his tray. He started to panic.I knew I had to step in.

My eyes narrowed. But before I could do anything, Warren had already started after Will.
"Mr Boy! Do something!" Layla cried.
Mr.Boy then sprinted towards the door screaming, "Principal powers! Principal powers!" I turned to see the two as chaos insued.

It didn't take long...
Fireballs burnt at numerous pillars in the cafeteria.  The who cafeteria was chanting for the two to fight. And Me and Layla and the rest of us.. we were all following Will who's master plan was... To hide under a table.

"Where's your sidekick, sidekick?" he jeered. *
"Right here," Zach stepped forward proudly, and we all nodded in agreement.
Warren's eyes scanned the group, and I sensed the slightest change in his expression when he saw the hard-to-hide disappointed look on my face. But he soon got over it, growling down at Zach, and advancing across the table.
"Leave. Them. Alone!" Will grunted under the table.

And then something amazing happened.

Will lifted the table. He lifted the table while Warren was still on it, causing Warren to wobble and teeter.
"He's strong," Layla whispered.
"I'm strong?" Will asked.
"He's super strong I heard Gwen giggle" , Will threw the table across the room, and it went crashing into the teachers lounge. Everyone cheered, and congratulated him, but my eyes absently searched to check on Warren.
But I tuned back in just in time for Will to smirk and ask, "Who tripped me?"
Speed and Lash scampered off in fear, and the entire cafeteria was in uproar with celebration.
"Stronghold!" a voice yelled, "Think I can't take a hit?!"
Warren then emerged from the broken wall. Ok I was so done. I stepped in between Will and Warren. "Ok, can you guys just stop for the love of Arnold Schwarzenegger." I heard a few laughed from my comment but, Warren hurled a fire ball straight for my face but I threw my hands up and my energy wrapped around so now I'm holding a supercharged ball of fire. My hands started to shake so I threw it back by doing a dragon ball move. Warren ducked but it placed a huge hole in the wall. But now my powers were "activated" my hair was now lighting up with electricity and my hands were glowing with the energy.

Warren once again flames up and starts speed walking towards Will and I. Layla shouts something at Will and he takes off. I quickly form a ball of energy that send Warren flying back sparring Will a hot second. ⪻AN hot second get it 😅⪼ then I hear a large crack. I look up to see a peace of ceiling that was very loose. It breaks off and falls towards me. I reach my hands up to make a shield than I bright purple explosion of light explodes across the cafeteria and then everything goes black.

I groan as I go to sit up. I feel someone push me back down. "Woah there." A voice says.
I look up to see Warren above me. "Hi.." I mumbled. "What the hell happened?"
"You kinda almost made the cafeteria explode and then dramatically passed out." I sat up and saw Lash rushing over. "You ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, I think. Just a bit dizzy." I replied. Then I felt a slight bit of tension. I looked up to see Lash and Warren glaring at eachother.
Principal Powers walked over and tapped Warrens shoulder. "Mr.Peace? I need you to come with me. Lash can you please take Ms.Quinn to the nurses?" Warren stood up and walked away. Lash helped me to my feet. I could barley walk so he just scooped me into his arms and with that, I passed out again.

💙"Her memory will be whipped and she will have no recollection of what happened.and her memories will be replaced. You shall allow her to live a normal life until her power activates. Once that is done. A year after you shall bring her back and training shall once again start."  A female Russian voice said.  "It would be my honor." An all too familiar voice said.

"...she looks alright. If you wouldn't mind staying with her while I go collect her things and talk to Prn.Powers."
I groaned and looked up. Once again Lash was over me. I heard the distant rumble of thunder.
"You sure like to pass out don't you?" Lash said. I barley managed to laugh. I tried to sit up but fell back. "Whoa. It's ok." Lash said. He leaned down and brushed my hair out of my face. "Your eyes are crazy." He laughed. I forgot to mention, I have one blue eye and one golden one.  "Thanks." Right as he leaned in the door slammed open.  Lash leaped away as Warren rushed in. "Hey you ok?!" He said walked over. He was Carrying my bag and textbook.
I just nodded. "Peace." Lash said with a slight glare in his eye. 
Warren sent a glare back. "Hey I'm going to take you home since we are neighbors." 
Ok was all I managed to say.
"Let's get you home."
