Chapter -18

Dwani pov

Today was an exciting day as we were going on a trip. I woke up early in the morning and decided to cook food for everyone as a way of thanking them for helping me decorate the house. After preparing the food and packing my belongings, I waited outside my home. Suddenly, a large van stopped in front of me, and for a moment, I was scared, thinking someone might be trying to kidnap me. However, it turned out to be Adithya bro, who asked me to get in.

As I entered the van, I realized it was more than just a regular van—it was a mini-house bus! It had a kitchen, a bedroom, a washroom, and even a living room. Everyone was already gathered in the living area, and Vedant sir asked me to sit beside him. I quietly took my seat and informed everyone that I had brought breakfast for them, which made them happy. I had no idea where we were going, but suddenly the bus came to a stop, and when I looked outside, I saw a beautiful beach in front of me. I was overjoyed because it was my first time visiting a beach.

Vedant sir asked if I liked the place, and I replied with a resounding "yes." The van was parked near some large trees, so it wasn't too hot there. We decided to have breakfast before exploring further. After eating, Sneha, Riya, and I went to the beach and played around while the boys eventually joined us. I was having a great time splashing in the water when Vedant sir asked me to come with him. I followed him, and we walked some distance away before sitting down alone.

It was during that quiet moment that Vedant sir and I shared our first kiss. I was shy at first, but it was a special and memorable experience for me. He held me close, and we spent some quality time together. Eventually, we made our way back to the group where they were preparing lunch. Sneha, Riya, and I helped them with the cooking, and after a satisfying meal, we girls went to the vanity to change.

Later on, we visited Riya's sister's farmhouse, where we played many games and had a lot of fun. Suddenly, Vedant sir's phone buzzed, and he excused himself to answer the call. Sneha's sister took that opportunity to tell me that Vedant sir's birthday was coming up next week, and we should plan a surprise for him. I eagerly agreed to join in the surprise.

Unfortunately, Vedant sir received some unfortunate news. His grandfather had been hospitalized, and he needed to go back immediately. We all headed back to our respective homes, and after dropping me off, Vedant sir and his friends left. I couldn't help but worry about him as he seemed down. After some time, I decided to call him, but he didn't pick up. I dropped the idea and decided to go to sleep, hoping he was okay. Just as I was about to doze off, Vedant sir called me back. I asked him if his grandpa was okay, and he assured me that everything was fine. I urged him to take rest and wished him goodnight before ending the call.

I woke up in the morning and went about my usual routine, completing my chores. I then informed my parents about the upcoming trip, and they encouraged me to enjoy myself while taking care of Dwani. Yes my parents are aware of dwani because of my identity they didn't initiate any personal talk with her till now. I drove to Deepak's house since he had booked a mini house vanity bus for our trip. We all gathered at Dwani's house, where she was waiting with her bags. Upon seeing the bus, she seemed afraid, but her fear subsided when she saw Adithya, and she entered the bus. Inside, I reassured her that we would visit my grandparents a few days later, to which she agreed.

Our first stop was the beach, where I managed to find some alone time with Dwani. It was there that I mustered the courage to kiss her for the first time, and although she was shy, I could tell she appreciated the gesture. We continued our trip, making our way to Riya's farmhouse, where we engaged in various games and activities. However, in the midst of our fun, I received a call from my father.

He informed me that my grandpa had fallen down and was admitted to the hospital. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, I shared the news with my friends and made the decision to return home. We dropped Dwani off first, and then I headed to Deepak's house to retrieve my car. From there, I drove directly to the hospital.

Upon arriving, I met with my grandma and asked her about the incident. She explained that my grandpa had accidentally stepped on some oil on the floor, causing him to slip and fall. We waited anxiously in the hospital lounge until the doctor finally gave us the good news that my grandpa was stable and could be taken home. During this time, I noticed a missed call on my phone from Dwani, so I decided to return her call.

She answered and immediately inquired about my grandpa's well-being. I reassured her that he was fine, and she advised me to take some rest. I agreed and ended the call, grateful for her concern. My father suggested that my grandparents stay with us until my grandpa made a full recovery, and they agreed to the arrangement. After my grandpa's discharge, we brought him home and I prepared the guest bedroom on the ground floor for him. I helped him get settled into bed, and then assisted my parents in preparing dinner.

After we finished eating, we all retired to bed. In the back of my mind, I had initially considered spending the night with Dwani, but due to my grandpa's condition, I decided against it. Although I would have preferred to be with Dwani, I knew that my family needed me during this time.
