The Utter Chaos of Meerab's Mind

When Meerab was struck by lightning

This takes place post Meerab's accident in episode 4. Meerab is still unaware that she's adopted.

I was angry- scratch that I was furious. So much so that I was standing in the stupid rain instead of going into the comforts of my home.

I was beyond furious; i was enraged. I was wildly, vehemently enraged.

And the reason behind my absolute total fury was the man currently staring at me.

" This is stupid, Meerab. Andar chalo.."

I almost would have stomped my foot if I wasn't scared of slipping and falling. Such was my luck nowadays that i didn't want to risk it. It had been two days since my birthday; since that dreadful announcement; since I had been engaged to marry this man

Murtasim Khan - who considered himself a gift to womankind, probably. He was rude, obnoxious, arrogant and stuck in the medieval age. And Baba- the man who had made so empowered- wanted me to marry this feudal lord. This man who had no qualities to recommend him.

He scowled " You just had an accident, Meerab"

"Please meri fikar maat karo, Murtasim mujhe ulti aa jayegi" she said

He rolled his beautiful expressive eyes and scoffed.
" Mujhe tumhari fikar toh nahin hain- get struck by lightning if you have to, Meerab. Just don't do it on my watch"

The nerve- the utter nerve of this man. I could have strangled him with bare hands. I skimmed my brain for a good enough insult but Grey seemed to scrambling for ideas.
