Down in Japan

The Trip

I pick up my cell to see Aaditi calling me. "Girl, I'm on my way. You're spamming me." I say rushing to get my suitcase downstairs. "Hurry we are about to go through security. Ella is already here and you're about to be late." She says practically yelling, "Ok ok I'm in the car now im coming don't worry. Bye." I reply and to that she just sighs and hangs up.

I roll my suitcase down the stairs and kiss my moms cheek. "Ma I can bring sisi with me and you can go home." I say she's been stressed with work lately and won't rest. "Sweetheart, go to Japan and hang out with your friends we'll be fine." She says, kissing me on the cheek then I leave.

Sisi is my cat I just got her a month ago when Ella's cat had babies and I took one. I always wanna be around her but now I can't sadly.

I drive to the airport getting there just in time so I won't miss them. I text the two in our group chat: Here checking in bags. Ella replies: yep I see you.

After I check my stuff in then I go over to Ella and Aaditi. "Hola amigas, who's ready for our girls trip." I say walking over to them. "Ah shh Kali you'll tell everyone around the world." Aaditi says, I've know Aaditi sense middle school, we met 7th grade and stayed friends sense. Me and Ella were best friends in elementary but 4th grade she moved schools. Yet we still stayed in touch and had sleepovers whenever we could.

I laugh at Aaditi and start talking to Ella, when Aaditi has a hangover it's not hard to tell especially when she has her sunglasses on in an airport, plus it's 9p.m

We make it through security and get some dinner at Chipotle. The plane boards at 10:45 so we aren't really worried. After we eat we start to board the plane, and we got to sit in first class sense there wasn't many people on the plane. I knew this was gonna be a long trip so I just fell alseep I was pretty tired anways.

I woke up from someone touching my arm handing me a bento. "Ma'am we are 6 hours away would you like lunch." She asks me "Oh yes thank you so much." I say grabbing it, "no problem ma'am." She responds then passes out more food to other people. There was a cute rice ball, nori, and fish in the bento, I was pretty hungry so I ate all of it in like 10 minutes then went back it sleep. "Kali Kali" I hear a voice from my sleep and I wake up. "We're 5 minutes away!!" It was Ella, while Aaditi was passed out she woke me up. "Huh." I respond not completely realizing what she said. "We're 5 minutes from landing in Tokyou, Japan!!" She responds almost screaming.

I nodded to her and looked around, everyone was up besides Aaditi. We start to head off of the plane and I do a big stretch I was so tired. I check my phone I see the time is 4:06 p.m. I forgot there was gonna be a time difference.

Aaditi and Ella drag me to get our bags from baggage claim. We all find and get our bags then head out and see our Uber. I ordered one before we headed to baggage claim so we could be ready to go. The Uber drops us off in Shibuya city and we drag our bags into the hotel, we all got separate rooms. The rooms were nothing fancy, but still was put together well, we were staying for two weeks so I understand.

I get a text from Ella in the group chat right when I start unpacking: Let's all go to this club I saw in Tokyou. She's out of her mind she runs literally off of sugar and she's had a lot of it: We're not going to a club after getting off of a 14hr plane ride. I respond and Aaditi agrees with me: Come on we haven't been to the club in ages plus we just got here we've got to see some hotties, get dress and meet me in the lobby at 5p.m.

After she makes up her mind there's no changing it, so I just give up and start to get dress, also doing my hair and makeup with that. I first take a shower then dress up in a short glittery burgundy dress. For makeup I just went for a red look plus I did some douyin makeup for the first time and it turned out so good. I put the front part of my hair in two braids the put the rest up in a ponytail then I leave out two strands in the front out.
