Seonghwa:

I woke up to a warm, comforting feeling. It made me snuggle closer to the source of it. So warm. When I got closer, I heard him letting out some random mumbles. Joong was still sleeping. I opened my eyes to see him. He was so pretty when he slept. My fingers followed the shape of his nose, eyebrows, cheekbones and jawline. He mumbled something and turned face down. That way, I could see his tattoos. I did the same with them. Up until he woke up.

"Come here," he said, opening his arms for me. I lay in his embrace. "Go back to sleep."

Even tho Joong told me to sleep. I couldn't. So I stayed there and watched his face. When my eyes moved to his lips, I blushed. Those soft lips that kissed me last night. Hongjoong was a skilful kisser. How many people were kissed by those lips? The thought of it made me restless and a little angry. Maybe I was a little too fussy cause he woke up and pinned me down.

"I said go to sleep. Otherwise, I'll kiss you," Hongjoong spoke in that beautiful sleepy voice.

I shook my head in refusal. That was when I felt his soft lips pressing on mine. In no time, he turned me into a hot mess. His lips and tongue were skilled beyond comparison. Joong held my hands pinned above my head. I had never felt so good by being dominated like that. Just when I felt head over hills, he stopped. I made a disappointed sound. So Joong grinned proudly at me. Such a devilish look. It was kinda hot.

We lay down in his bed till noon, just cuddling and making out. Hongjoong was someone who could make you forget all your problems. But it was over once his phone rang. He picked up the call with an annoyed look on his face. He spoke for a while. Trying to cancel his plans, but his hands were tied. He turned towards me.

"Wanna come with me to a band practice?" he asked me. I didn't want to be alone. I agreed.

I watched him get ready. He was faster than me. Joong got ready in no time. Then we decided to drop by my apartment for clothes. But once we went there, we found something disturbing. My front door was broken with a message written on the door. In big black letters was written 'I found you'. It made me freeze on the spot. But Hongjoong stayed calm. He took my hand, and we went inside. I found my apartment in complete disaster. Everything was on the floor. But the most disgusting was my dirty laundry. It was on the bed, next to a puddle of white liquid. I almost threw up.

Hoongjoong pulled me out of that scene and hugged me. Then he told me I could borrow his clothes, and I did. Then we left for their practice studio. On our way there, we stopped by a chicken shop and got some fried chicken.

...

Everyone from the other night was there. We all sat down around the coffee table. The first to attack the chicken was their drummer Yeosang. He was like a monster towards food. While eating, Yunho noticed Hongjoong's wounded hands. But he didn't suspect anything about last night.

"Hyung, did you train without gloves once again?" Yunho asked him.

"Train what?" I asked, confused, remembering his punching bag.

"Don't you know?" Wooyoung asked. I remember him because he was the loudest of all. "Our sweet hyung was a kickbox champion as a teen," he explained.

I looked at them, confused. It explained why his body was so fit. And why did he beat up that creepy guy so easily? But it came a little surprising. I couldn't imagine him in that light. And my confusion showed up on my face.

"You see, Hongjoong was a problematic child. His parents signed him up for kickbox lessons, and he became a teen champ on a national level," Yunho explained to me.

Then someone showed me some photos from that period. There was even a video of how Joong knocked out another guy with just one punch. It was an unexpected side of him. And that rage in his eyes. Something I had never seen in him. Joong rushed to snatch the phone and hid it from me. His face was all red.

"His tattoos are from that time too," San said.

"That's enough. I'd changed a lot since then," he said, looking me in the eyes.

I believed him. At the moment, Hongjoong was the only person I trusted. Once that conversation was over, we ate in silence, and then they took position for practice.

...

"You know that you're choosing a dangerous man, right?" Wooyoung asked me out of nowhere.

"Because of his teens?" I asked him, a little confused.

"Nah, because he's a freak in bed. His last boyfriend didn't want to break up because Joong was so good."

"We are not dating for now," I said. "And I guess he's experienced after many lovers," I spoke, feeling the bitter taste of jealousy on my tongue.

"Many? Nah, he had only three," Mingi joined the conversation. "One is my boyfriend, Yunho. They were in middle school and dated to test it out. Then I met Yunho, and we fell in love. They broke up after only some kissing."

While explaining that Mingi didn't sound bothered. He was actually happy when he mentioned his boyfriend. We chatted some more on different topics. Mingi mentions his recent date with Yunho. He was all bright when he spoke about it. I could almost see a bright, shining pink aura around him. It was fun to spend time with them. And listen to Hongjoon's music.

Hongjoong:

Our practice finished a little earlier, so I decided to go on a date with Seonghwa. I decided that some distraction would be good for him. After all that happened. So I took his hand in mine and led him to the nearby park. Where we took a walk. He was all cheerful. Even suggested we should get some ice cream. And we did.

"Rainbow sorbet, please," we said in one voice. I was surprised that we liked the same ice cream flavour. But it was cute.

...

Back at the apartment building, he stood in front of his door, looking all grim. I understood it. Who would want to go back to such a place? His hand was all shaky, reaching for the door handle. I stopped him from even touching it.

"Just come to my place," I said softly.

"But all I have is here," Hwa responded, ready to cry.

"I'll take care of it tomorrow. Stay with me for now."

Back at my place he hugged me tight and sniffled over my shoulder. It was cute. We stayed like that for some time before he let me go. His eyes were ready to cry. I wanted to comfort him. I started gently kissing his cheeks and then his forehead. Seonghwa blushed.

After some time, we sat down over some warm tea. He relaxed enough to start talking about the situation with his ex, the guy from the other night. He was an old ex. When Seonghwa was young, he started dating an older man who treated him well at first. But when Hwa refused to go on the next step of their relationship, that guy became abusive. To the point, he attempted to kidnap him. But Seonghwa's brother stopped it, and they reported it to the police. Afterwards, they got a restraining order. He went to jail for a bit. Enough time for him to move away. Hwa had switched a couple of places since then, until recently. Apparently, a friend of that guy saw Hwa during our concert and told him. That was why he was here.

I got furious while listening to everything. It made me feel strongly protective of Seonghwa. A good person like him didn't deserve to be treated like that. That night I made a promise to myself to protect Seonghwa.
