Being this close Jisung panicked and tried to get out of the seemingly strong hold. But just as he succeeded a little Renjun held him tighter. Jisung still tried but a sniffing sound stopped him. Jisung now noticed Renjun with teary eyes looking at him.
'Why are you going away from me?' asked Renjun in his cute voice. ' I am not going away hyung.' 'Yes you are.' 'No no I am not I was going to my bed to sleep. ' 'Sleep here with me.' said Renjun softly and holding tightly. 'Hyung let me go.' said Jisung strictly. But Renjun got a complete wrong message. He started sobbing and throwing childish tantrum. Jisung could just sigh.
'Ok ok I will not go. I will sleep here.' ' Really?' ' Really. Now hyung please stop crying.' Renjun than moved over for Jisung to lay down. To his surprise Renjun immediately cuddled to his side. ' Jisung' called Renjun softly after a long silence. ' Hummm...?' 'Why do you seem distant from me?' 'I am not. I am right here with you.' 'You are here now but you sometimes avoid me. ' 'It is not like that. You might have mistaken.' 'Ok but don't ever do it. It hurts here ' Jisung panicked hearing the word hurt . 'Where?' asked Jisung. 'In my heart ' whispered Renjun. But Jisung don't catch that . 'Where?' He again asked. Renjun remained silent for some time than ignored the question asking, 'Do you want to know a secret Jisung?' and moving closer to Jisung. Jisung thought about moving away but decided against it. 'If you want to tell then ok. I will listen. ' But Renjun's reply didn't sit well with him. 'But I might lose you. ' 'Why would you lose me?' Jisung thought out loud. 'It scares me the thought of losing you ' said Renjun. 'What will happen to me if I lose someone so precious. Everything might crumble.' at this point Renjun was just saying these things incoherently without any explanation which worried Jisung.
They always shared their worries and if this secret is this much heavy that Renjun seemed to crumble in order to hold it made Jisung's heart ach. 'Nothing will happen you can tell me. We will solve this together. You have me. ' 'But bu...' 'No but Renjun. '
It seemed like time stopped or a bomb dropped when Renjun said those words.
'I'm in love with someone'. Jisung 's heart broke. He knew he didn't have a chance but still hearing this is like indirect rejection. It sure does hurt like b¡ch. Still with a heavy heart and silent tears pooling in his eyes he struggled out 'who is that?'. It hurt really bad but maybe he needed the last blow.
'I am afraid ' Renjun said instead. 'Why'? asked Jisung. 'You might hate me after hearing the answer ' 'I won't. Promise. ' 'Promises can be broken.' 'I won't break it.' Jisung waited for some time. But each second his heart grew heavier. But then.....
'You' came a soft reply.' I didn't hear you correctly.' Jisung said. Renjun replied more bravely this time 'You'. he couldn't deal with fear anymore. It is the end anyway. He couldn't hide it anymore and the remaining alcohol did help a bit.
To Jisung it was unbelievable. He can't believe his ears. Maybe his hearing got a problem suddenly. Or maybe just maybe there was a mistake Renjun said it wrong . Or maybe he answered the wrong question.
The silence was a time bomb for Renjun. It could break any time and he would be destroyed.
'Hyung' Jisung called. Renjun feared to be yelled at or be called disgusting names. But what he didn't expect was,' Repeat what you said again. ' 'What..' ' Your answer.....' 'Jisung just forget it. ' ' No ' Renjun took a deep breath before saying. ' I have fallen for you. I am in love with you Jisung'.
Renjun expected to be shoved away after that.... but Jisung hugged him. Then he heard Jisung sniff. Renjun tensed but still hugged back to comfort him.
