My life is anything but normal. My dad is the mayor of San Antonio, Texas. Every weekend, he's at some form of a press conference or at a showing. When he's not there, he's at home in our 4 story mansion, sitting on the wrap around porch drinking lemonade like a good old southern father.

My mother is his number one supporter through everything. Danielle and Edwin rule the city. My sisters and I were put into the best schools we could afford from kindergarten up. Now that I have finally graduated, I could finally have a free summer until I need to find a real job and put my degree to use.

Hence why i'm at a rodeo with my best friends, Drew and Noelle dragged me into this. I hate rodeos but Drew instisted on going to see the hot bull riders. Apparently there's a really popular rider here tonight. Every year, my family attends the rodeo. It's my fathers duty as mayor of the city. The Jergeson Rodeo is the most popular in the state of Texas. It attracts millions of people to come get carnival food and watch people with horses or bulls.

I'm squished between my two besties, while Noelle and I share an elephant ear. Noelle is my father's assistant daughter. She's been my best friend since forever. Drew is the senators son. I met him at Cranbrook High. Our old private school. Noelle also attended with us. We all attended San Antonio University, even somehow managed to share a quad room.

"Oh my gosh, this is big dick central right now." Noelle shouts , mouth full of elephant ear. She has zero type of filter and says whatever she wants when she wants.

"I agree. You guys know what the song says. Save a horse, ride a cowboy." We all start dying laughing. My sisters,Alaina and Bethany, are somewhere around here. If they heard how we talked, they would be mortified.

They are the golden, non-problematic children who have never been in trouble. Alaina, who is now 26, just had her first sip of wine. I've been sneaking sips and bottles since I was 14. Bethany, who's 24, is a little less uptight. She let me use her ID to get a tattoo for my 17th birthday. In front of our parents though she's golden.

"Charlie, look at him. He's so cute!" Drew says as he slaps my arm. He is pretty cute, he's got golden skin, dirty blonde hair, and muscles for days. He has a whole security team following him. I wonder if he's the special guest.

"Oh my gosh, Drew, thats Hudson Kennedy! The famous bullrider, who's the special guest tonight." Noelle is fangirling so hard. He sits right in front of us.

"Ladies and Gentleman, We will be starting our rodeo shortly. We would like to announce that Hudson Kennedy is here! He's tonight's special guest." The crowd erupts into a loud roar.

Hudson stands up, turns around and makes direct eye contact with me. He holds eye contact for a second before waving to the crowd. He sits back down and starts barking orders at people.

"Justin, I want fucking ribs, is that too hard to ask for?" The way he talks to his staff is so disgusting. My mom would kill us if we talked to any of our staff like that.

Justin, who I'm assuming is his assistant, brings him back a slab of ribs smothered in BBQ sauce. The whole time throughout the rodeo he's barking orders at everyone around him.

"Leon, I want some Goddamned lemonade. There's a fucking carnival around the corner go get me some." Drew had a lemonade cup full of lemonade. I'm extremely petty and rude to famous people who treat their staff like shit. I totally shouldn't be doing this considering my father is here.

"Here, Mr. Hudson. Here's your goddamned lemonade." I take the top off and dump it on top of his head. Drew and Noelle are shocked.

"Treat your staff with more fucking respect, you pig.Just because you're famous doesn't mean you have to be an asshole." I turn to face Leon and Justin. "If I were you, I would quit working for him and find a better boss who's nicer who also treats me with respect." I stand up and walk away. Drew and Noelle are right behind me.
