Victor's Perspective
Thursday, August 13th, 2032.
Lyon, France.
11:50 AM.
After a year, Se Jun, Sofia, Eun-Hye and I sat at the Airport.
"Are you sure about this Victor?" Se Jun asked.
"I'm sure," I replied.
"Taking out Ms. Yuki's daughter? Isn't that a bit extreme?" Se Jun asked.
"It's not, it's only fair," I replied.
"Victor please reconsider," Se Jun mumbled "You're no murderer,"
I stood up angrily.
"Well, now I am! They took them from us! They left our baby sisters without parents! This is only fair! Survival of the fittest," I said.
I missed them, they were everything to me, and I loved them.
"Alright, don't fail, don't fall in love with her," Se Jun joked making a heart with his fingers.
"You're repulsive, and I never fail," I grimaced.
Se Jun chuckled softly and petted my head. My brother turned away when he heard his flight was about to leave.
"My flight," He muttered.
"Please don't go,"
"I'll be stranded in France," Se Jun spoke.
I knew that, yet I didn't want my brother to leave. We didn't have a penny to our name, everything was being kept safe in the bank and handled by our mother's side of the family. I knew we were out of options but if Se Jun, who was as strong as my father and looked just like my mother, also left... it meant that they were truly gone, and I had lost everything.
"We'll all stay!" I begged, "Don't go,"
Se Jun dropped his luggage and scooped up my face, he looked straight into my eyes looking as serious as possible.
"Please don't leave me too," I cried.
"Victor, this isn't forever," Se Jun spoke, "But I have to go, for us, and our parents, so promise me you'll protect Sofi and Eun-Hye,"
I nodded.
"You're the big brother right now," Se Jun smiled, "For a little while until I'm 21,"
"That will take forever," I blurted.
Se Jun kissed my forehead and shook his head.
"Not forever, just for a little while," Se Jun smiled softly.
His flight was announced again, and he had to go. My brother let me go with one final kiss, he kneeled in front of my sisters, saying goodbye, hugging them, and finalizing with a peck on their foreheads. He stood up and grabbed his luggage.
"Well good luck Victor," said Se Jun.
He mouthed the words "Promise me you will take care of them," and I nodded, replying with the words "I promise, Se Jun,". He smiled and waved goodbye.
Se Jun left for his plane. I sat back down, anxiously playing with my clothes. Looking over at my younger sisters and looking to my left where Se Jun's empty seat remained empty. Our flight was announced an hour later after my brother's plane left.
"That's our flight," I muttered.
I hopped off my chair and my sisters followed me around. I took my luggage and my little sisters too. Sofi and Eun-Hye had their hands extended for me to hold.
